it might look like fighting but when mating the male bearded dragon will usually bite the females head to hold her and show dominates but sometime if the female wont wave or show signs she will fight to not be mated with smart move breaking them up. if she wants to be mated with she will let him do his bussiness

Yeah dude I watched it and it's not like he threw them at each other in a cage match, and as soon as they started he interrupted I think I actually hear him say "hey knock it off" and the separated, and everyone is over here acting like this WAS a dog fight, like he trained them to fight, got them all agitated before, placed bets on it then had them fight to the death. ALL I see is he was getting video of them together and they happened to start fighting and he separated them.
If i were you id keep them apart for a bit them mix them in the same cage and see what happens... if they fight you might just have to separate them for life. You dont want them to die do you?

Agreed. Two beardies shouldn't be put together unless it's a boy and girl, and allowed to fight. It's natural, but it's the worst thing you can see from dragon-to-dragon relationships. Keep them separated at all times. That was an aggressive attack. Look for signs of head bobbing, because thats an indication of a fight.
You actually shouldn't house any beardies together, male with female, female with femae or male with male. You can own two male bearded dragons, you just can't keep them in the same tank together. Or put them together in the floor or anywhere else. The females will fight too. So, they need to be kept solitary. They're great pets. I have one.

Actually, it's good for them to scrap every once in a while. It's not like they're dogs, it gives them a chance to exercise and have fun. As long as you break them up before it gets bad, it's a very good thing. Besides, they were trying to mate.
If one beardie starts banging its head then that means it thinks this is its territory. If its a male and a female the female will probably back off, same thing if its an older male and a younger male, but putting 2 males together is bad in the first place. I'm glad u stopped it when u did because fights like that can lead to a beardie dying and noone wants that.
it's not smart to put two males together. but when you put them together from the moment they are born its just like cats and dogs. they will get along. but never put in a female because they will fight to the death. tales and toes are the first ones to go. there just so fragile at the end.
and ADIDAZ360, i,ve looked at the beardies tail and only see the shedding skin near the end contrasting against the end of the tail which has darkened. this is 'tell-tail' (ha)behaviour when they're posturing up like that

Yeah dude I watched it and it's not like he threw them at each other in a cage match, and as soon as they started he interrupted I think I actually hear him say "hey knock it off" and the separated, and everyone is over here acting like this WAS a dog fight, like he trained them to fight, got them all agitated before, placed bets on it then had them fight to the death. ALL I see is he was getting video of them together and they happened to start fighting and he separated them.

this is so stupid. watching animals fight and get hurt brings you joy, i see. one of my males got into the other's cage while i wasnt there once one got the tip of his tail bitten off and had deep tears into his flesh. i am fortunate someone caught them before he got killed.

Agreed. Two beardies shouldn't be put together unless it's a boy and girl, and allowed to fight. It's natural, but it's the worst thing you can see from dragon-to-dragon relationships. Keep them separated at all times. That was an aggressive attack. Look for signs of head bobbing, because thats an indication of a fight.

You actually shouldn't house any beardies together, male with female, female with femae or male with male. You can own two male bearded dragons, you just can't keep them in the same tank together. Or put them together in the floor or anywhere else. The females will fight too. So, they need to be kept solitary. They're great pets. I have one.

You shouldn't allow your beardies to fight like that. It's not humane and any wounds could open them to infections. Be more careful, they rely on you to keep them safe.

I actually know something about this animal and it's behavior? -gasp- They are not supposed to be housed together or allowed to fight. It can cause injury, or death to one or both. It's natural behaviour for all animals to fight. But the point I was making was that we don't allow other animals to do it, so why them?

Maybe you need to grow a set of eyes and learn to read. I simply said they could hurt themselves, and they shouldn't be put in the position where they might injure eachother.
I didn't insult, or yell, or do anything offensive until you showed up.
That's like saying 'well, you walked infront of that car but I grabbed you before you could get hurt'.

So they fought, didn't hurt eachother, but they'll be let to do it again.

If you didn't notice, they latched onto eachother and ripped at eachothers tails before they were sepperated. So how much damage could they do before hand?
We're suppsoed to be smarter than the animal, and if there were laws for reptiles that there are dogs, cats and birds, this would be illegal. And hopefully, in the near future there will be.
You are unfit to own a reptile if you think that this is humane. your first instinct should be to protect your animal, not see what it can endure.

You obviously havent read the results of these fights. they fight to hurt eachother. I know people who have had their beardies jaws broken, feet bitten off, tails bitten off, toes removed, eyes blinded, the list goes on.
It kills them in the wild. they can be literal fights to the death.
Don't read this if you don't want to, but the fact that I won't let my bearded dragon fight doesn't make me the unfit one to own a reptile.

as the author has said they "are both males" and that is why they're showind dominance to each other like this. The bobbing of the head and puffing of the beard and body along with the tilting of their bodies to make themselves look bigger is clear signs they are both males.

Actually, it's good for them to scrap every once in a while. It's not like they're dogs, it gives them a chance to exercise and have fun. As long as you break them up before it gets bad, it's a very good thing. Besides, they were trying to mate.

If one beardie starts banging its head then that means it thinks this is its territory. If its a male and a female the female will probably back off, same thing if its an older male and a younger male, but putting 2 males together is bad in the first place. I'm glad u stopped it when u did because fights like that can lead to a beardie dying and noone wants that.

it's not smart to put two males together. but when you put them together from the moment they are born its just like cats and dogs. they will get along. but never put in a female because they will fight to the death. tales and toes are the first ones to go. there just so fragile at the end.

and ADIDAZ360, i,ve looked at the beardies tail and only see the shedding skin near the end contrasting against the end of the tail which has darkened. this is 'tell-tail' (ha)behaviour when they're posturing up like that
