Think about this. I am black and proud. Now try saying african - american and proud. Just not right. We are Black. The only term that captured our essence as a people.

  • In Living Color--'booked on phonics' character --"supress your defecation" LMAO

  • back when hiphop had significance

  • This is phenomenal, his flow locks right with that beat

  • These guy out distance nearly every Hip-hop artist working today.

  • Wise allways made me PROUD!!He still destroys and puts to shame 95% of the rest.

  • Why did political rap decline? I say it declined once it crossed over. Eventually rap groups like P.E and Arrested Development started to get alot of MTV exposure outside of Yo MTV Raps. Back in the 90's once that happened that ment that a rap group had crossed over and their music was no longer viewed as "threatening". This in my opinion caused concious rap in general to loose the appeal it had. Getting mainstream(white) acceptance diluted the appeal of political rap.

  • @CrowdPleeza - Like every trend, it got burned out. The success of PE spawned a million copycats. The market was flooded with dozens of "political rappers," 5%'s...it got tired. Farrakhan being name-checked in every song...nobody could take political/conscious rap to the next level, which is why it died on the vine. Same thing happened to New Jack Swing, G-Funk...

  • This song just fixed the ears lil wayne damaged

  • back in times when hip hop was a real music...

  • Hip-hop - the voice of people

  • and the recording deals went to them who spawned the dead hip hop of today ,no accident there

  • I think MC Wise Intelligent has converted to Christianity.

In this video, he clearly was Islamic. Now I think he follows Jesus Christ.

  • @royalty315 Really??? Interesting...

  • @royalty315 r u serious? smh

  • @djkanibal

Wise is referring to guys that are 6 and half feet tall.. He laughs at them ...despite the fact that Wise is smaller, he uses his intellect

  • The Gay Black Boule and the CIA were manufacturing the Crack Baby Generation to take over the present Rap OR Rape industry we currently are witnessing! for example (Gucci mane, Wacka Flocka Flame, Webbie, lil Boosie, and the list goes on! but we have to stop complaining and Support our own Real Hip Hop artist! there is no reason why Wise Intelligent shouldn't at least go (Gold 500,000) in record sales when his new album drops this year! and if not (Shame on Us) the (GrownManRap) community!

Probably the most under-rated MC of all-time, & I heard just about all of them.
