  • Hello.. I notice you have a dual core pentium dell inspirion. I have snow leopard installed correctly, however it boots in safe mode only. When I try to boot in normal mode, it just hangs.. what could the problem be? I am using boot 123 and a retail snow leopard disk.

  • allyou need is a boot loader

  • I own a legit copy of Mac OSX leopard, would I be able to use the CD to upgrade? Oh is Unbunto any good? I got a Mac My Book 1TB I can use for some other OS.

  • ok, i posted my vid

  • can you send me directions?

  • honestly, i have no clue how i got os x to work, because i had to find a way to dual boot, and i forgot. I know how to get Ubuntu though....and vista. but that's about it.

  • DUDE ! HELP! I have the same 1 with 1.86 dual pentium and 4 Gb ram, 250 gb HDD, and i just cant get mac os work on it ! After i install it, it says "b0 error" and nothing happens! Then i have to format the fucked up partition in order to get my xp back up and running! Help pls!

  • In order for OS X to work at all, you have to format it in some form of the HFS+. I used the extended journaled one. If i can find it, ill send you the guide i used, though it's for leopard. I also have what's called a post installer that installs the wireless, display, and everything else to make it just like a macbook.

  • oh yeah, and when i try installing Tiger, it doesent detect any Hdd-s

  • Did you format your drive using hfs+ Extended?

  • already did that... i instal it, then when is done, and says it sucsessfully installed, it crashes just when it has to load the Wellcome vid. I posted a vid responce...

  • Ill take a look at the video response. If you uploaded it recently, it'll have to do something through youtube. But, one more thing. I dont really know if tiger would work on the 1525. I got Leopard (Kalyway 10.5.2) to install just like it would on a mac. a final thought, if you try to install again, at the Darwin bootloader, type -vanila. I know it only has one l. but press F8 and type -vanila. That worked for me. oh. and you cant update os x on os x86

  • GUYS let me tell you how to do it!

    Step 1: Wipe the drive

Step 2: Install whatever os you want to install EXEPT OS X

Step 3: Then partition your HD

    Step 4: Install OS X

After installing OS X you cant install any other OS cuz OS X uses i dif boot loader
