  • I already did the exam this dec. they were really simple questions but been my first time I couldn't finish the RC section. am a bit uncertain if am making it or not. any advice to make my mind at rest before the score is out in Jan.?

  • @ukoku25 No. Sorry. Nothing to really ease your mind. I think you have a 50-50 shot. You probably did very well, but to be honest, the first time I took the test I left feeling like I kicked butt...but when I got my score I was devastated. How did you prepare? How long? How well? As I said, I'm sure you did fine, especially since you said you feel that the questions were easy. I'm hoping the best for you.

  • @MsPriceless519 Thanks for your prompt response, I prepared for exactly 6weeks and also used course material from Powerscore in logic games and logic reason. I used the exactly text books you just displayed on your video...The reason why am a bit scared is that time couldn't allowed me to MURDER the RC section., I don't like the failure part in the academic world.

  • @ukoku25 Well, everyone fails at something. Failure IS apart of life. You don't have to like failure, but it will enivitably happen. Regardless, don't let the test results stop you from applying to whatever schools you want to apply to. I know people with scores in the 140s that were accepted to tier one schools. Remember that admission committees don't just look at the GPA/LSAT. If that were the case, they would NOT ask for personal statements and other addendum.

  • @ukoku25 P.s. I didn't mean my last comment, about failure, to seem rude/crass. That wasn't my intention. I was simply stating that it happens. I've seen people that can't handle failure and almost go insane about falling short of perfection. I'm sure your RC section was fine. As long as you were able to do the majority, if not all, of the AR sections, which are worth 50% of your score, you're fine. The worst part is waiting for the scores to be emailed to you. Almost drove me crazy!

  • Thanks again just enrolled in powerscore virtual course!

  • @MAKEOVER4 awesome! i think you'll be happy with your progress/understanding. :)

  • @MAKEOVER4 Be careful. At least one of PowerScore's courses is a scam...

  • @heycaligirl I'm sorry that was your experience, but I cannot say I can identify considering I experienced no problems and not only did my instructor attend law school, he owned his own firm. You may have gotten the short end of the stick, however, I had a good weekend class experience and using their self study materials (LSAT Logical Reasoning Bible and LSAT Logic Games Bible) increased my score and gave me a clear understanding of what I was doing, raising my LSAT score.

  • @MsPriceless519 I'm glad you were lucky enough to have a good experience. Sadly, PowerScore's Enrollment Agreement and customer service do NOT protect students against bad instructors and/or classes. PowerScore does not to take responsibility for ANY problems after the first day...

Students should know all the facts before they enroll: PowerScore can and does SCAM students.

  • No specific mention of your scores? I am in the middle of Kaplan LSAT course now so I would like to know what your 3 scores were so I will know what results are, quantitatively speaking, possible?

  • @MrWil1972 i'm assuming you mean qualitatively, not quantitatively. however, i didn't mention my scores because i didn't want to, but there was a significant (16) point difference between test 1 and test 3; at least i consider it significant considering that most statistics say your score won't improve more than 3 points when retaking the LSAT. i cannot attest to the qualitative nature of kaplan since i don't know anyone personally that took kaplan courses or what their LSAT scores were.

  • Pretty good wrap-up of LSAT

  • @MrWil1972 Thanks.
