i mean even the best singers/vocalists in the world sometimes cant hit the high notes they themselves recorded, or mess up from time to time

I agree. Your voice is great but you have to keep in mind the tone of this song. It's irritated and annoyed and AGRESSIVE. Let the emotion of the song into your voice and it will make all the difference. My music teacher would say "Don't sing the words, sing what the words mean".
