@Secret2Go It took me until late 2009 to get to the majors. In 2009, I went from AA to MLB in one season. Won the MVP award in first full rookie season with no modified sliders and I got injured for a month.

getting a ps3 and this game in a couple days i play a lot with my friend but he hates rtts so we never play. i was wondering if anyone had tips i was thinking a contact speed good fielding ss kind of like orlando cabrera. any thoughts?

i would make a first baseman

-put batting power, contact, speed, and fielding ability all the way up

-then go from there

-makesure you do the bunting atributes last.

-if you make a first baseman then you dont need arm accuracy or arm strength as much if you would be a different position

-hopefully that helps a little bit!

when i do rtts i never get called up how do u get called up do u need ro go like 4 for 4 in every game or something

You usually get called up to the Majors in your 3rd-4th year in minors with good stats and completing your goals. After you destroy the Majors while your riding the pine, ask the manager to give you a start.

i dont have mlb 09 the show but it took me a seasn 2 get to the bigs in 08 the show. just have a good season, hitting .500 would b nice 2, thts wat i did. this game is prbably harder though

That's cool, I'm just messing with you lol. My 2nd baseman can't hit for shit(meaning I can't hit lol) so I created a rtts pitcher. Funny thing is that pitcher has a better batting average and has more hits than my rtts fielder does :|

Your not kidding. The game is rigged. Your cruising along and the cpu decides they will get 5 straight hits off of you, along with fouling off 25 pitches lol. It's frustrating but at the same time, it's alot of fun.
