@G4m1ngFr34k - No, sorry, this is the Australian Redback spider. I'm not sure how it's venom rates against the Black Widow, but it can be fatal. Luckily it has very small fangs so while it may "bite" you it's fangs may not pierce the skin. Have a search for the Australian folk song "Redback on the toilet seat" for a bit of fun. Our most deadly spider is the "Funnel-web", you get bit, you get to hospital NOW. It's in the top 3 most dangerous and regarded by some as number 1(Wiki)

(no sarcasm intended, so please don't take it that way) At home non-black spiders get safely escorted back outside, black spiders meet a swift and hopefully painless death.
