Overpriced Toyota Supra. They would've made way more money had they mass produced a new Toyota Supra with similar engine sound exhaust system as sales pitch. Let's say for around $65k - $80k. If they would've built 15,000 world wide they would've made a billion. 11 thousand were sold in its last production (1998) for US. Only 500 LF-A's will be sold. Talk about a bad decision? If they produced 30,000 Supra's world wide they would've made 1.8b, assuming car will cost $60k, vs $100 mil for LF-A

LFA is almost entirely all carbon fiber if you really think about it, Toyota is not making that much money from the cars, since it's so high tech and actually does cost so much just for the materials. Now that is a car with a worthy price tag.

I saw it barely squeak a 1/4 victory race by 1 sec. against the GT-R & it tied several competitions against the Audi R8 in Battle of the Supercars. For all this money, there should be a total domination & there isn't. This car isn't worth this price unless you have half a brain to realize this.

ZR1 are for people who like cars made of plastic. Who cares if the car is fast if the build quality is shit. Even cars that are lower end have better build than American cars. GERMAN, ITALIAN and JAPANESE have always used better materials and better engineering overall.
Thats a beautiful car. Its supposed to come out in 2011, but Toyota/Lexus probably want too much money for it. I dont think Lexus is going to sell much of these, but if it does I would be really surprised being that they want so much money for the LFAs.

@janjaso technology is their but its not worth it- and Motortrend did a comparison and the GT-R beat it in many areas if not match it- Bottomline its a nice looking, decent pushing car that just isnt up to par with the other players pushing the same or in this case less in the price-tag category

@Sahadi420 Z06 and ZR1 looks exactly the same, the front is just a little different with the super charger, put and ZR1 and a LFA side by side, which one will attract more people... LFA, ZR1 sigh it's alright. LFA is almost entirely all carbon fiber if you really think about it, Toyota is not making that much money from the cars, since it's so high tech and actually does cost so much just for the materials. Now that is a car with a worthy price tag.

@samuellis Na you can compare the ZR1 corvette to this because although this cost 375,000 dollars it still goes as fast as any other supercar in, or below, its price range. Frankly i would buy the ZR!, Porsche GT2 rs, or even the lamborghini murcielago lp640 over this any day...

Stupid, ridiculously priced car. Yeah, I would get a Ferrari better & buy a house with the extra $550,000. F*ck the LFA! There's not even an obvious performance difference with this car. I saw it barely squeak a 1/4 victory race by 1 sec. against the GT-R & it tied several competitions against the Audi R8 in Battle of the Supercars. For all this money, there should be a total domination & there isn't. This car isn't worth this price unless you have half a brain to realize this.

ZR1 are for people who like cars made of plastic. Who cares if the car is fast if the build quality is shit. Even cars that are lower end have better build than American cars. GERMAN, ITALIAN and JAPANESE have always used better materials and better engineering overall.

Thats a beautiful car. Its supposed to come out in 2011, but Toyota/Lexus probably want too much money for it. I dont think Lexus is going to sell much of these, but if it does I would be really surprised being that they want so much money for the LFAs.

@DiscoCheese500Badger yeah well they couldve just put a twin turbo into an is350 and it would be a nissan GTR equivalent car, in a different style body. instead they made an engine like never before, a v10 that takes up a smaller space than a v8, and as light as a v6, oh and it revs faster than any other car, its basically a formula1 for 400k, plus only 500 in the world, yeah i dont think theyll sell it for 50grand.

@janjaso technology is their but its not worth it- and Motortrend did a comparison and the GT-R beat it in many areas if not match it- Bottomline its a nice looking, decent pushing car that just isnt up to par with the other players pushing the same or in this case less in the price-tag category
and the only reason the produce 500 of em is because it will boost sales and treat it as a limited edition- no doubt they will sell the 500 but in the modern world it just doesnt fit
