dude, i have watched all of your videos now and whatever the hell your training for, i feel sorry for whomever the poor bastard is who has to face you. awesome stuff. i'm 38 yrs old and have recently started exploring the writings of the old time strongmen and dudes like Pavel. i wish i had the kind of workouts then that your doing now; i'd be mule strong by now! again, awesome stuff! keep up the good work.
I have a friend who is 40y/o who just started doing kettlebells in the last year or so and JUST started really kicking into gear with raw strength. You might be surprised how quickly you can adapt when you put consistent effort in.
yy sure xD i just want to do them without swinging arround, but need to do little more ab train until then ;) will you do another video in the next time?^^
lol mad overall strength pistols made me laugh at the start but yer ring stuff is discusting you dont know how many times ive tried circles and gotten to like 3 and face planted on my hardwood floor :P
Wow, those are some darn good numbers (especially for pull-ups). I used to life but now I'm just sticking with weighted and non-weighted bodyweight exercises (handstand pushups, pistols, pull-ups, dips, glute ham raise, etc). Btw, did you get a lot of carry-over from your bodyweight training to your weight training? I think the weighted bodyweight movements produce some decent carryover.
Yep, there is a carryover from BW training. I started with martial arts style training from a young age and then started using weights in my teens. I went back to BW training about 2 years ago and used it as my basis for training. Pk is the most realistic application, along with martial arts, to assess where you are in your physical progression.
Wow, you have really good overall strength. I like your idea of putting two plates together for the one legged squats; it works your grip. Btw, how much can you squat or deadlift?
insane! why don't you post your training schedule and diet and stuff? if nobody else wants to know, i sure do. also, what sport are you training for, or are you just kicking it for the sake of physical culture?
Thank you. I feel there are a few improvements to make: my arms should be locked a little more and also I lost some tension in my glutes when doing archer pushups. I noticed when I reviewed the video.
This is an old video, but it's a breath of fresh air for me amongst the many other "workouts" online. Thanks for sharing.

Hi ORT, absolutely amazing videos, really impressive!
I have my own set of rings in my garage and if I can eventually do the exercises you've shown here I'll be stoked!

tyvm! ya, I find the rings to be VERY useful. And I personally think they beat the crap outta the TRX.

My PR's are as follows:
Squat 300lbs+
Deadlift- 436lbs+
Pullups- 90lbsx1
Military press 205lbsx1
bench-315 was my best. its about 290-300 right now.
I can do dragonflags, one arm/one leg pushups, 15 L-sit pullups.
My O-lifts still suck. I gota work on them.
I am doin a powerlifting routing right now. I can't wait to see what I can lift in another 10 weeks.
I am still kinda heavy. I want to get down to 10%BF.

new squat= 365lbs
dead= 465lbs

I just recently rack pulled 550lbs
