I will never live in a place that doesn't allow me to dry clothes outside on my own property--that is ridiculous. OR make me mow my lawn, because I'd rather have the long grass and weeds, cute little voles, slug-eating garter snakes, pollinating bumblebees, butterflies, and goldfinches dangling from thistle flowers. I find that a lot more aesthetically pleasing than something that looks like astroturf.
