  • just great, I'm always looking to impress my kids by playing with our pictures and let me tell you; this is a big help.

    thanks

  • Hi koool08,

When you copy a layer, it's always free of any locks. Perhaps you accidentally clicked one of the lock icons above the layers?

If that hasn't solved the problem, pop over to our site and we'll be able to better troubleshoot it for you.

  • hi! i encountered a problem here.....actually i tried the first time and it worked ( the whole process). the 2nd tme i tried doing this effect, i realised when duplicating the background (pressing ctrl J), the layer 1 becomes partially locked and hence i can't do transforming. it wasn't like this when i did the 1st time. so how do i unlock this layer? Is there a setting that i have to change so that this doesn't happen again?

  • nice tips. thanks ;)
