Vincent D'Onofrio is one hell of an actor. Really dedicated to his craft. Acting or not, he took 2 good shots in that scene, and Ermey didn't hold back either. You can't fake that kind of stuff. Sometimes you just have to man up and do what the director asks in order to get the shot. I just wonder how many times the director said....CUT! That's no good! Let's do it again!
