Bon hit higher notes & hit them better. Brians got a voice that sounds like a rusty pipe, hes got the growl. I think Bon was better at timing & melody, and it sucks that you will never hear a new AC/DC album with Bon singing. But you can hear Brian kickin ass on new shit!!!

Blaze did not fuck up Maiden's sound, he only gave it a different edge than Bruce. They did some great stuff with Blaze (Virus, Man on the Edge). The only reason everybody says Blaze is shit is because they were all bitter that Blaze was only in Maiden 'cause Bruce left. It's like with Janick: Steve wouldn't let shit in his band!
BTW, Brian and Bon are both cool, even though I prefer Bon.

I never looked at it as a Brian vs. Bon thing. I always thought, and still do, that Brian is his own man and deserves the respect for what he has accomplished with the band. He does rock and added his own magic to AC/DC. With Bon, AC/DC was this horny bluesin' rock band and there never would have been and AC/DC at this level if there was not a Bon Scott. In the end both Bon and Brian are AC/DC and we should love em both for they have given all of us so much to enjoy.

It wasn't drugs, Malcolm had alcohol problems. None of them were ever like drug addicts, they all smoked pot and Bon tried things like acid a couple of times but they weren't addicts.
malcolm and bon occasionally used pot, and phil eventually got into drugs and it started to really get to him. Angus was straight, no alcohol or drugs. It was alcohol that Malcolm had problems with; as far Bon's drug use, he "tried" some intense stuff by accident.. he didn't know what he was taking (i.e. morphine, that almost killed him)

I know Malcolm had some alcohol related problems in the late 80s during the blow up your video tour and his cousin filled in for him for some of it while Mal took time out. But I think other than Bon and Mal dabbling a little in the excess, the band a re relatively clean as far as drugs are concerned.

I dunno about that. Obviously Bon was big into drugs, Brian did cocaine for about a year before realizing it was messing him up too much to even sing, and I think Phil did some cocaine and that led to him not functioning properly and being kicked out in '83. Malcolm smoked pot with a buddy years before AC/DC, and they all drank except for Angus. So you can't say they're all drug addicts, and they aren't now either.

LOL Bon is Scottish! His real name is Ronald Belford Scott, but when he moved, there was already a "tough kid" named Ron, and Bon came from Bonnie Scottland, so the name just stuck. He is definatley not Irish though.

I don't know, I find it a stretch to imagine Brian playing guitar and never making a single mention. Although I could be surprised, like when I found out Bruce Dickinson played guitar, although I know more about AC/DC.
