the bass isnt actually that deep, you can hear it because it has higher frequencies/prominence than most sub basses, any deeper than 20 hz and you wouldnt hear it

I find Skream a very dull artist in the dub step realm. At the very least I think most of his stuff is lackluster and for dubstep at least for me the reason it's so great is that 'fun to listen to factor' which causes the music to have something creative or interesting to make it really different from the next dub step song that also goes wa-wa-wa-wa.....try 16 bit if you haven't

Taking a step back to clarify, I think dubstep is an interesting genre because of it's potential diversity. But, I lament the fact that a genre I like so much has sooo many boring and generic artists. As I see it, Skream is pretty dull to me, it lacks anything to make it srand out. I still love trippy nice breakz best: like shpongle - a new way to say hooray (breakz at 4:30) or the "transglobal underground" remix album
