Great trade for the Lakers, imo. I see Morrison starting, even when Bynum returns. They would typically start either Luke Walton or Radmonovic instead of Lamar Odom, due to them not having enough shooting on the floor with a front-court of Odom-Gasol-Bynum. Morrison gives them that shooter, and I see him turning into quite the player with the Lakers.

This trade was basically a salary dump + a way to get younger for the Lakers. It'll be good for Vladi so he'd be able to raise his value in Charlotte. Morrison is another J.J. Redick. Be patient and he'll be a deadly outside threat that has the ability to drive it to the rim. Brown is very athletic (almost Ariza-like) and his contract off the books at the end of the season. Morrison is a good player. He can shoot the 3 probably as good as Vladi, and he's more athletic; knows how to get to the hole better. I think the lakers made this move for Vlads sake. It wasn't fair to keep a player who could start on most teams burried on the bench. In Morrison and Brown they got two players with great potential and all they gave up was a player who never got in the game anyway. Still it could be risky for the great chemistry they had.
