Advice: Get a Tom stand so they dont have to be on your bass. Lot easier to hit them since you can put them right in front of your snare.

@thedrummaboy228 I'm 15, don't even own my first kit yet.. But the basics are out there man, start out with something mellow and slow like I don't know, older Metallica and then build up. Theres hundreds of videos on youtube alone with helpful tips on counting beats and a simple rock beat.

Focus more on your timing and dynamics. Know when to hit hard and when not to.

Try to practice a bit more to a click.
