The only matter is that her songs aren't really as great as other singers, like X-Tina (who has a very nice voice too, but way better songs)... Anyway, I respect that she writes her own songs.

The reason why it sounds like crap album cut live, is because the music overpowers so she has to shout! Her voice isn't designed to shout overtop - no one's is, ESPECIALLY considering she has been singing for 30 years - the voice needs rest. This sounds fabulous because she isn't competing with a million loud sounds in the background
