My dog,Max won't ever catch an apple,he'll eat it before I say fetch,but he knows to catch a ball on cue,and some defrent objects. That aren't food! :D

I bought my Pomeranians from a breeder, and well the pup, I"m trying to teach her to sit, but she is sensitive whenever I touch her fur and when I throw her favorite toy she just runs and catches it with no command, she just doesn't want to sit and she tries to bite the toy when I hold it in my hands...

Rescue dogs are the best. We just adopted our rescue dog 1.5 months ago :) She doesnt play fetch, but I'll keep trying with your suggestions :)

I didn't have to train my dog to fetch...she would probably fetch a tire if I asked her to (at least try :) ) She is a golden retriever after all. Her name's Ella...your dog is precious by the way.

WOW!! This is really amazing! I'm planing on teaching my dog to fetch, but like yours she has no retrieving instinct. I'm thinking There will be a lot of work to do, but seeing this is giving me confidence that it can be done!

(I think your dog could have some Sheba Inu in his heritage - Just adding my 2 cents worth!)

Yeah, we think he might have Corgi in him too but who knows for sure. People always ask if he's got some German Shepherd in him, but he's only 10 pounds full grown so I doubt it!
