'Why didn't you just get a shutter remote'? I think your missing the point of using pocket wizards - They got a massive range. You can also use this system to fire your remote camera with another camera. Great for sports photographers - Imagine one camera set up behind the goals of a soccer game, while your at the other end of the pitch. A defender hoofs the ball downfield and the opposing team collect the ball and shoot at goal. You press your shutter and the other camera captures the action.
Thanks for the video. I was wondering, on the pocket wizard is the cable connected to the pc sync port on that as well? I've only got some cheap triggers and was wondering if i could do that with mine.
is there a release for the cable from the camera. My cable connector won't come out of my camera. It is stuck!

@lukerobin01 yes it's connected to a sync port on the PW. The stand alone PW stays in your pocket or vest pocket for easy access when firing.

@KarmagraphyBM I have one of those. The Wizards are for setting the camera far away from you and triggering it with the Wizards.
