Sorry for your crash, hope you have repaired your jet, maybe yes if it's the first crash. i have repaired mine 4 times because i had lot's of problems with the launching
DONT USE THE XPOWER SANDOW WITH THIS JET!! it's not the good sandow for this jet.
I have the L39 Xpower two, and the first launch with the sandow was horrible, the jet had take off but difficultly.
For this jet, you must to use a bungee ramp, with 12m of single sandow 0.8mm (double is better for more power and easy takeoff)
Thanks for watching the video heli. Opinions come in different flavours eh? :-) One at my LMS even suggested torque effect of the fan last week. Regardless, the instructions with the model are misleading and a contributory factor to the crash, along with the tepid bungee. If you look at the second video, you will see, using fast and low with a manly bungee, dolly and foot trigger gave me a resounding success. Good luck!
I have to disagree with your launch advice...it was too high! You need to have your aircraft at on near the same level as the bungee anchor. You are trying to acheive altitude with a bungee. The bungee is there for acceleration only, next time keep the aircraft low, let it slide on the grass, and dont try to pitch it up by using a ramp either, that only increases drag, just apply a little elevator when you release. Hope it works out for you!!
only issue you had was your launch... too low, throw it next time and have throttle at full. also get a new airframe just to have sitting about for when you get used to it i smashed my f16 4 or 5 times trying to get the hang of it. so small and fast it tends to get outta control due mostly to panic lol. but fun anyways
Xpower and J-Perkins Jet are the same but the stickers are not same. But quality of manufacture is exactly the same.

Hi Jeff...if you look at the other video (proper bungee and trigger) you'll see she gets off like a good 'un. Buy your comment about the fuz though!
