Fallout new vegas: Archimedes II weapon

I think i had this glitch too! i shot wait,wait,... And there is no Big Blue Laser! Than i changed my weapon and there is this Small Red Laser! Eyerytime!!!?! -_- what Now?????

are you on PC? you should get fraps dude... if you are pc that is. i used a UNregistred version for my Euclid's C-Finder demo... if your on PSN whats ur name and we could mabey play some COD or BF

@sniperownsuhard i use the PC version of fallout nv, i have the xbox version of fallout 3 and i plan on getting fraps, i have hypercam but its not good quality. i don't have a PSN, i do want one as i am tired of Xbox live, i have an Xbox 360 and i play computer games such as TF2, garrys mod, and counterstrike. my steam name is GENIE! and xbox Gtag is ii DIABEETUS

@MrSuper65 fallout new vegas is new so there are a number of glitches, they usualy patch them after a while...

@MrSuper65 Same here, i was trying to get the tesla cannon equivalent and when i tried to fire at a bunch of hardened gutsys the 3 lasers came together and formed the big red one, but no giant death laser came down, and now, i have no ARCHII charge and it wont reload for me when i wait 24 hours.

It only happened after i went to beat the robots at the crashed vertibird. I didn't even use it on them....when i tried in a random location later it was still broken! Damn glitches...what also suprised me playing this game was that you can use the infinite caps gltich that was in Fallout 3..if i remember correctly they patched it in Fallout 3 so how is it in New vegas?!?!

@sbickmore95 for me it was working just fine. Saved the game and went to bed. Got back on the next day and it started doing that glitch.

I'm sure it'll be fixed in the next patch. And lol at the cap glitch.

@TheHollowGrave yeah yesterday the gun worked just as its supposed to ands now the gun after being activated the lasers come together but doesnt fire >:(

@MrOisean LOL now the gun is working fine. Here try one of these:

1) Load up a recent save.

2) Restart the console.

3) Wait out the lasers. I fired the Archimedias and it took like 5 minutes till it actually fired. I died because my reticle was pretty close to me but hey, it works again.

@unrealshad0w you will find a boy chasing a girl with a "toy" gun just inside the east gate to freeside. Thats actually the range finder for the weapon. Buy it for 1000 (20 if your barter is high enough), steal it, or kill the kid and there you go.

@ShelleB33 in the mission "that lucky old sun" at the end i sent grid power to the archimedes 2 and completed the mission, i then used the ~ key to activate console then typed "player.additem 14EB3C 1" and there you have it.

@1stFjar you have to put it exactly as i did. if you put the " symbol it wont work, i put it just to highlight the code. the weapon is 14EB3C and the 1 is the number of items.

if that dont work than find the kid max at freesides east gate and buy it for 1000 caps.
