There was no immediate danger or reason he went to the apartment in the first place. Varg killed a guy, not in self defense. I wasn't there, but it's pretty obvious the story doesn't totally add up. I believe he said he did burn at least one of the churches but was blamed for many more.
Actually it's not Germany's fault that the video was blocked in their country- it is youtube's and the whole false copyright bullshit system they have. Varg and his label are ones who own these tracks, and I'm sure he couldn't care less if Germans want to hear it in their country.

I could be wrong but i think the money the label got from belus was used from some "good thing" so that varg does not have to pay it for the rebuilding of churches.
