  • I feel shy and abit embarassed when playing the violin.. i just feel that i dont have the emotion or feel for the song...

    *sad*

  • 鳥肌がたちました。素晴らしい動画をどうもありがとう! Wonderful!

  • @ VladislavGomulka classified is kinda right Valerie started when she was 8

  • Many of the previous youtube videos i have watched are of children at a very young age performing this piece. They play with entire concentration the vibrato and keeping in tune with notes, compared to Valarie who plays with the heart. Without expression music just plainly sounds dull.

  • She's tuning in at 0:18-0:33.Prepare to meet thy doom !!

  • Good conbination as a grown up of morning grolia with very charastaristic on this VTR in Korean !

  • crazy shit =O

  • Don't forget to congratulate the pianist here...doing a fantastic job in a collaborative role as a real supporting accompanist.

  • The showmanship at such a tender age! Bravo! Music is certainly her language :) And bravo to their teachers as well. Great ensemble.

  • The showmanship at such a tender age! Bravo! Music is certainly her language :)

  • The showmanship at such a tender age! Bravo!

  • B R A V O..!!!!!

  • The world will hear a lot from this incredible duo!!!

  • Je répond à ZtiluakLibb que je suis Français

  • i love these girls, and i love their talent, but I hate how people are putting them up on the pedestal for playing pieces they're not ready for. I'm sure right now Valerie has improved tremendously but please don't call it adorable when your child is playing a piece she clearly wasn't ready for. I'm glad they have the tenacity. Some people wouldn't be able to live through imperfections that happened in this performance. I admire her stride, but she deserves better.

  • @classifieds103 You a superjerk! I do not know them, so I am objective. You are just envious to their talents!

  • @VladislavGomulka and what did I say that implied I am "just envious to their talents"? Did I not praise Valerie in my comment? I was just saying how BIG violin repertoire like this need to be tackled at a certain level. In this particular video, I think Valerie just rushed herself in playing this piece. Maybe another year or two would have been needed before deciding to jump in such a hard Sarasate piece. She's got talent, but she doesn't need to rush learning every major violin work as she did

  • @classifieds103You probably a professional musician. I am not. To me, what this young lady is doing is on the borderline of a miracle. My efforts to force my poor violin to sing were futile for many years. What I see is a miracle. This girl is great. On the other side she shows constant progress. From my experience: the best way to positively stimulate is to PRAISE. People like here are enough motivated, they are blooming on praise for the achievement and it is one. Cheers!

  • @VladislavGomulka Like I said, I DID praise valerie in my original comment. So you're arguing with me for no reason. In my opinion, praise alone isn't enough to help a student grow. There needs to be constructive criticism so they can learn from their mistakes and improve even more. I just provided a constructive criticism. You simply misconstrued it as an insult, which believe, I was not trying the least bit to insult or detract from Valerie's talent. It just upsets me when repertoire is rushed

  • @classifieds103 Why not to mind your own business?

  • @VladislavGomulka I'm going to stop replying to your comments. You're extremely defensive and angry at me for no reason despite the facts that I 1.) am not insulting or being mean to anyone 2.) never did anything to offend you. If you think constructive criticism is mean, then to each his own. But please, stop being defensive for no reason ok? It doesn't look good on anyone.

  • @classifieds103 You, not me, mischaracterized Valerie. To present now her/himself as a victim is not decent.

  • Yeah! Music has no age!

  • I think the pianist is even better than the violonist.

  • Precocious. And wonderful musicianship.

    Very precocious. Thanks for sharing.

  • Those two girls can do more, than an orchestra

  • O M G! ! ! ! THAT WAS JUST AMAZING! ! ! I just want to lock me in my room and practise like hell for many YEARS!!

  • To me it doesn't matter if their newest video sounds better or not.

I love this one better. I didn't even notice that the reason Dominique turned the pages like she did was two were stuck together.

I just thought she needed to play a measure from the other page, then turn back to where she was.

  • My goodness so talented and so young, I've never seen this much passion and engagment towards music in such a young people, Bravo you are both truly gifted!

  • I don't know what to say ..... these two Girls are AMAZING..... They are still so young. BRAVO .... and tenthousand Stars.

  • i thought that korean people can stand the music very well

they are great at music and everything about art

    so great

  • Jesus! she can play that!

  • I went through all 132 videos! What impresses me most is how the girls ENJOY listening to the sound they're making. Awesome.

  • tu nho toi chua nghe ai choi nhac hay nhu vay

  • OH MY GOD

  • wow also ich spiele auch geige aber wow ich bin sprach los

  • That was amazing.

  • Maybe they can write an amazing song about all the times they spent having fun...oh wait.

  • @prophetezekiel AHAHAHAHAHA

  • even more pro...sigh as i play my violin...i'm 12 and this piece is really really difficult...she's keeps her confidence even when she gets some intonation wrong...which is good :) good luck for your future.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm playing this piece now at fourteen, and its wicked hard! she may be a little out of tune and other stuff, but she is better than I am!!!

  • the fact she's playing this at this age saddens me. all my years of practice....down the drain.....to people like her :'(

    (excellent though (: )

  • @ciaconne90 I know how you feel, I have this with all those other 4 - 9 yr old kids who play technically really good, but they don't with their hart and soul.

And then I bumped into these girls' vids and I just get goosebumps from them! They're both SO amazing and they play with so much feeling.

They both got talent and we'll hear of them later, I'm sure!

  • @ciaconne90 yeah if you suck...just quit

  • Bravo!!!!!!!!

  • no manches ... pinches vagas

  • the accompanist plays like a pro!!!! both has a musical sense and direction. very nice indeed!!! great job!!

  • "THEY" are simply amazing, so young... and yet they diplay and express more emotion than some professionals...!

  • so did she win the scholarship?

  • shes really good

  • OMG only pros play this song

  • "Rough around the edges"??? Most kids that age do not even know what this type of music is. They are phenomenal!

  • holyshiz

  • oh god, they are so amazing! wanna marry dominique! haha

  • oh woooowwww you girls are amazing!!! your even better then most of the people at my school who play(: good job!!!

  • WahouUuu !!!

  • Woah.

  • Amazing! Wonderfully played! 5 stars!! No one should criticize these girls, they are great! How many young people do you know with this much talent?

  • Adorable is right and not so rough, really!!

  • A blossoming virtuoso, what a gift she'll have to give our ears in years to come.

  • Ha! This is nothing for this girl! Look up her other stuff, quite a talent. Wish my memory was that good.

  • This is too difficult for someone so young unless they are excpetionnally musically talented. She should play easier pieces and become more naturally musical.

  • How many hours does she practice a day?

  • I like the facial expressions of Valerie. She looks like she's enjoying what she's doing very much.

  • jungkim2020, are you the parent of the 2 girls? They're wonderful. You must be very proud. I'm becoming their fans. How old did they start playing?

  • well, she could use some vibrato... I'm surprised that she can play something at this level, but can't use vibrato.

  • 1:45

i thought she snapped her strings.

    amazing for her age. :)

  • This looks fake because the left hand is not moving like the vibrato we are hearing. And even for a young child the intonation is unbearable. I imagine the child was play acting and that she is a very advanced player, as she is in all the correct positions.

  • when i look at the score..i was like omg ...this is hard..looks back at the video..0.o..she's a genius!

  • Weird weird weird....why did their have to be so many side comments that just boasted but nothing except that......she's horrible.

I know I'm getting like -20 for this comment, but seriously.....she WAS prettttty bad......she should have done this piece later in her life and started with Rond Cappricioso by Saint Saens (which is hard too but better for growth of playing) instead.......

    Go ahead! Give me -100....

  • Wow! I like both of you!

    You are very talent ^-^

  • I agree with firefoot

  • I know I'm going to get downgraded to hell for saying this, but I don't think she's ready for this piece. She needs to refine her technique before she can pull of the allegro, and during the lento her phrasing and intonation could use some work. Yes, she is talented, but talent can't make up for simple technique and jumping to play difficult pieces prematurely won't help - there are plenty of other pieces she could be playing well and actually perfecting.

  • this is crazy...

  • How talented this child prodigy is!

  • IMPRESSIONNANT ET EMOUVANT !

  • I simply love this. She reminds me of me!

  • omg they are so good!

  • i think shes really good expressing what she thinks but she is kinda off key in many places......

  • So sweet! And so good, too! Both girls are indeed adorable. I don't know what I admire more: Valerie's charm and expressiveness, or Dominique's great accompaniment.

  • @bartmeijer1954 probably both of their beauty

  • OMG! 9 years old!!!

  • These girls need no one telling them what to do better here. Just enjoy while watching their amazing talent, who are you to tell them how to play.

  • @ZtiluakLibb

    yeah you're right..... they're exceptional

  • @ZtiluakLibb Who are you to say she's so good as to be above criticism? No one improves by being told they're wonderful when they're really not. She might have some talent, but she's way in over her head with a piece like this and it's only going to set her back.

Those of us who are criticising her do it because we actually know something about classical music and don't just gush at the sight of little kids playing difficult pieces, regardless of how bad it is.

  • @firefoot77...... There's a well know saying...... 'Those that can do, and those that can't remain critics' I did try to find an example of your performances but could not find any !!!!

You may well know something about classical music but you cannot take from these girls their outstanding accomplishments...they are superb and nothing you can say can evry change that.

  • @marshplumuk I'm not trying to detract from her talent. My problem is with the fact that she's never going to be able to fulfill the potential her talent could allow her with people (especially her parents) ONLY going on about how wonderful she is for playing a piece that is much too difficult for her without offering any critique. It is an accomplishment to play Zigeunerweisen at age nine, but it can't even compare to being able to play it exceptionally well because she's actually ready for it.

  • @firefoot77 she's 9. she's just playing rep and performing it because it's good enough! brilliant because she's 9. she can play the notes... maturity will come with age.

  • @samloom Actually, she can hardly play the notes - she simply can't keep up with the Allegro, and I won't get into the Lento. The idea is to play repertoire that's at your proper level so you actually have room to mature and learn as you go, not to play rep that's rather painfully obviously above your level just 'cause it's impressive.

  • @firefoot77 : Listen to her recent video of the same piece, made 3.5 years later. THAT'S why it's not a bad thing to work on pieces that are too advanced, although I agree with you that I'm not sure it should have been performed at the stage it is in this video.

  • @lilly763 Her new video sounds much better, sure - but why does that have anything to do with learning difficult rep prematurely? She wasted time (and likely learned bad habits) by spending so much time on a piece she really oughtn't to have learned back then, when she could have been developing and strengthening basic techniques from 'easier' rep. This new video is fine, but given her talent, I can only wonder how much better it *could* have been.

  • @firefoot77 haters gunn hate!

  • @ZtiluakLibb I agree 100% these two girls haven't charged a single person here on Y/T one cent to watch them play.

No one has the right to complain unless they paid for a ticket to watch. And didn't get their money's worth.

  • @ZtiluakLibb

Quelle incroyable maturité musicale, si jeune!!! bluffé.

  • @moiflute78 English, Swedish, español or Deutsch please :)

  • @ZtiluakLibb Je suis Français

  • perfecto

    perfecto

    perfecto

    perfecto

    perfecto

    perfecto

    ...

Buen trabajo, sois las mejores, llegaréis muy lejos

  • Beautiful

  • WOW

  • why those kid can play so well!! it's erally cool

  • i love her

  • wow.

  • WOW!!! Dang I wish I was like them, I play good and all, but not that good. lol : )

  • what did she do at 1:44?

  • i think she played four strings at once: a "quadruple stop" but she did it rly hard and aggressive

  • pizzicato

  • cUtE!

  • Amazing! Intonation is a bit iffy, but the piece overall is hard to get all notes right, especially for this age. Great job!

  • beautiful =o i wish to hear more...

  • al principio creí que era un video más de niña sobreestimada, pero veo que sí tiene la capacidad para tocar esta pieza. Las faltas que tiene son meramente interpretativas y eso se arregla con su edad.

    Bravísimo.

  • wow!!! Zigeunerweisen!!! I only know 1 person who has played this and he did when he was 13.

  • I love the dress!

  • nine.... NINE?!?!

  • what the.... Am I watching a dream. Incredible, incredibler than susan boyle

  • ¡¡que bello!.. maravilloso!! desde argentina un abrazo!

  • As a 9 year old violinist, she shows some unbelievable concentration for a long period time!

  • The only people that would rate this less than 5 stars are just jealous of their talent.

  • just... amazing.

  • Both incredible musicians!

  • how old she is, increditable.....emotion can be expressed by music..... now u

    must agree, hahahaha : )

  • when the violinist was pizzicato-ing I had a slight feeling that she was about to snap a string...however on the other side it's amazing to see a kid who is not is not even 10 play a piece like zigunerweisen. the pianist was great too

  • WOW O.O

  • It could be , " Rap ". I loved it.

  • can they both enjoy at least ten years of childhood before becoming amazingly talented?

  • Her potential is good, but her emotion is unbridled, not focused. She needs more life experience, and have felt deeper emotions to convey this song to it's fullest. technique errors and intonation problems are the easy thing to fix. Experiencing love and loss is what is needed for Zigeunerweisen.

  • wow...

  • ヴァイオリンの子うますぎ!!!

    歌うとこなんか大人顔負けだね。

    伴奏の子にミスが多くて残念だけど、

    非常に才能があると思います。

  • Jesus.. talk about kids that have been whipped in to shape by less talented parents

  • seriously...guys most kids nowadays start at nine...and im 14 and still learning this piece

  • Cut her some slack -__-::

Could any of YOU play like this when you were 9 in front of an audience to boot?

  • Can somebody tell me the home and e-mail adress of these geniuses? I have something for them

  • stalker.

  • Can somebody tell me the home and e-mail address of these kids ?

  • wow stalker...

  • at her age, I only could play silly and easy things...so...to me is awesome how can she play the violin with only 9 years. But if we can be honest, she is not close to the perfection in this piece. I'm from Spain and well....the Gipsy air is still lose in the air xD. But she will be a very very good violinist in the future!!!

  • and after minute 7 it's kinda scrued up ^^

  • mm they are amazing but I think she didn't get even close to the feeling of it, somehow it seems too cut¡ as if there was no relation between one part and the other...

  • It's great for her age, but she is still young to play it right.

  • she's not at the level to play this peice. the details are far from there.

  • piece*

  • yeah i think you're right, at this age i don't think she can too, but now she can, she got a lot better.

  • Thought I do believe the child is too young to know how to feel the music, it is a very diffcult piece, so I can see why.

    No hard feelings here. =D

    It was a nice preformance.

  • I'm very impressed that this little cute girl can play this super hard song BUT I dont like it somehow.... I guess it's true that you can tell the personality by how people play any kind of instrument.

  • Bravíssimo, maravilhosas!!!

  • r they korean????????

  • wow.............................

    god bless u

  • holy ..... this took my breath away. They are quite astounding. Bonte'! only 9 and 11? Bravo! wonderful performance by both!

  • the two together are amazing!...shes better thaN me and she younger..lol...GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!

  • G-O-D...!

  • so im guesing they r sisters?

their family must b so proud , im so proud n im not even related!!!!

  • almost perfect..the way they act while playing..living the music..even without sound you can see the talent by their moves while playing...I believe Valeri should practice more before her violin performances..she is a real talent , however it is hard to say that she plays clear and solid .. i didn't like the sounds she preduced on this performance..

  • what's wrong with the screen?????

  • I think the camera's quality is not good enough.

  • Amazing stuff. Maybe if the violinist stood more to her left, then the pianist would not have to turn her head so much to follow the soloist. And oh dear...that dress! (I don't normally pass comment on such things)

  • Bravo

  • genius = =''

  • He says great! This children is really a genious! ^^

  • 太棒了 真是天才

  • Translation please?

  • (That's awesome! What a genius)

  • @jungkim2020

This is so wonderful! You're such a talent

  • @jungkim2020

Translate from Chinese: Great performance. You are really talented.

I also think the same way. Are you a parent of them?

  • @jungkim2020 I think he or she wanted to say truly, thay have talent ;)
