And It's still the same on the R2 DVDs, usally Toei fix stuff like that on the R2 DVDs. They missed another one too, during Usagi's first transformation, when her hand appears when she says up, stop it and look at the frames, one by one, she's got 6 fingers on the hand :O

It was a very unique magical girl genre at its time, and many other anime followed its footsteps. And, even so, very few lived up to Sailor Moon's standards. I think so far, the only ones I've seen and liked are Magic Knight Rayearth and Cutie Honey
