Actually, Atreides is the most difficult side to master. The Minos may be good, but too slow. I loved this game.

Harkonnen is the easiest to learn. The Ordos take a lot of micro, but they are awesome in skilled hands. Atreides is slowest overall, and balance is absolutely essential.

You guys can use hamachi to play over the internet using lan. Alot of empire earth players did this, or an attempt at a community server

If there is lan capability, you guys can use hamachi to play multiplayer over the internet. I heard alot of empire earth players switched to either this or an attempt at acommunity server, after stainless stell studios shut down the master server

The multi-player was so much fun.  The community was really tight, and so many of us knew each other (I was Taqwa11, for anyone who might remember). The clan system was excellent. The game was just so unique and always exciting. I sure miss it.

I've played all of the Command and Conquer games, as well as the Warhammer and Starcraft RTS games. The units in this game are cooler and more creative than most RTS games. Anyone who's played this game can appreciate how great it is, and was, as the first 3D RTS. The single-player game was great, with very entertaining cut scenes, acting and storyline. The soundtrack is superb. If someone would make a part two for this game, I'd drop C&C RA3 and Generals in a second.
