I think this induction actually went on way too long. He could have started the up and down part much earlier and completed it in seconds, and then definitely had the trance ready by 1:58 and could have easily induced the trance there, but then sort of shook you out of it and started it all over again. Interesting video series and good job guys
The reason the command for him to remain in his chair didn't work at 5:38 is that you told him upon hearing you snap your fingers he would "awake". Most people unconsciously associate waking with fully coming out of trance. Next time, simply tell him to "open his eyes". He will remain deep in trance and your commands will stick.
