i think that they will make another series like Superman or Metropolis, i can´t believe that Smallville will ends. I have to say that is much like a soap opera but we must understand that special effects are so expensives that its impossible to make Smalleville as we want. I hope that the new series will have better writers.
They re-worked the story, Jor-El wanted him to stay at the fortress and train but Clark couldn't stay away from the people he loved, so he abandoned his training. He eventually went back to his training but made it clear to Jor-El that he couldn't leave his normal life, so he does both, he becomes 'the blur' (lame name, but there were copy-write issues with 'Superboy') He also teams up with a young Justice league minus Bruce Wayne. (copy-write again) He becomes Superman this year (last season).
This is a great video.I would hope that something like this would end Smallville at the end of the 10th season where Welling if he would get cast in the new Superman movie,would disappear into the Fortress and then emerge as Superman ready to take on his enemies since Clark has already taken on many of them in the show.
Great video! Good use of my favourite piece of John Williams music too, "The Planet Krypton." However, I would have preferred that music over the visual of the creation of the Fortress itself. you know I often hear about how Clark on Smallville now is too old to be a young superman, but from a certain point of view he's still young, I remember hearing that in some continuities(like in the DCAU where Clark is still actively fighting crime in Batman Beyond) Superman is depicted as being near immortal, so in a sense Clark is still young, in Kryptonian years I think

I know what you mean. and I'm such a huge fan of this tv show and I'm am hoping and wanting Tom Welling to play the lead role for the remake of Superman and theres so many fans who want him for it, ya know. Smallville should of ended here. In my opinion, it should have been renamed Metropolis, The writers would be changed, stop the over-use of close-ups, cut the Dawsons creek and teen romance bullshit, and put an end to the boring wait for 5 mins of action. This is Superman for crying out loud! He deserves better than this. I used to love this show. They've dragged it out so long, Im bored. It looks like we may get our wish this season in regards to the suit. Kind of. Apparently, Clark does start to wear a suit, but its an all black outfit with a silver S shield on the shirt with a trench coat instead of a cape. Kind of reminds me of his Kryptonian suit he wore when he returned from the dead in the comics back in the day, with a little bit of Punisher thrown in too. Hopefully, this is a transitional phase for the suit.
You should see this new upcomming season becaue it's gotten even more intersting and Clark is embracing his destiny and has a suit. Not the officail suit but i gotta admit, it's a start. And hopfully this year we see him could see him fly.

How his character developed from childhood, friends who helped him on his way, and also where he gets his morals and values from. However they do drag out the episodes a little bit and sometimes only see Clark throw one punch. And when will he FLY???

I always like the "crystal" vision of the technology in the fortress of solitude; and crap man the "28 known galaxies?" That's pretty advanced! I always wonder, what if in the grand scheme of things we are a "backwater?" One of the phrases that always pissed me off was the American phrase that goes "the conquest of space." So America has conquered space has it? Lets see it chart the "28 known galaxies."

It looks like we may get our wish this season in regards to the suit. Kind of. Apparently, Clark does start to wear a suit, but its an all black outfit with a silver S shield on the shirt with a trench coat instead of a cape. Kind of reminds me of his Kryptonian suit he wore when he returned from the dead in the comics back in the day, with a little bit of Punisher thrown in too. Hopefully, this is a transitional phase for the suit.

You should see this new upcomming season becaue it's gotten even more intersting and Clark is embracing his destiny and has a suit. Not the officail suit but i gotta admit, it's a start. And hopfully this year we see him could see him fly.

@TheSecondIDare I know what you mean and I do agree with you mostly. But this is more about Clark Kent rather than Superman. How his character developed from childhood, friends who helped him on his way, and also where he gets his morals and values from. However they do drag out the episodes a little bit and sometimes only see Clark throw one punch. And when will he FLY???

I always like the "crystal" vision of the technology in the fortress of solitude; and crap man the "28 known galaxies?" That's pretty advanced! I always wonder, what if in the grand scheme of things we are a "backwater?" One of the phrases that always pissed me off was the American phrase that goes "the conquest of space." So America has conquered space has it? Lets see it chart the "28 known galaxies."
