  • Anybody get a untouchables-vibe? Besides the intro and the chorus?

  • @captainoodle me too

  • @captainoodle I agree the first pieces of vocals that jon sings sounds like title number 2 from untouchables very laggato sound.

  • The lyrics for the songs are great everything else sounds half fasted put together, then u got Brian doing his own thing & he doing some amazing stuff, this album is so depressing to listen to on how slow it is.

  • Clapping killed the mood of this song lol..

  • i don't know, but i don't like how the drums sound in this album, the bass just sounds like another set of drums, and no bagpipes? i think they can do it better when trying to get the old sound, but this song is coool,

  • I think it's funny that people fight over someone's opinion(: but otherwise this is really great!

  • This album has the best fucking sound of any Korn record ever

  • Comment removed

  • the emotion in this is soo fucking crazy man i just love this album

  • its always goin to b korn, no matter how different, it has the 'korn' that no other band can fucking copy.

  • Comment removed

  • @sullacokorn Doesn't matter. Even if they were made by some effects, at the very least they were pleasant to listen to. With this, there wasn't ENOUGH effects, making the melody and feel of the song sound like it was droning on and on. Plus, i mean, in Oildale it's "WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE".... that went out of style like 10 years ago. At least this song has no message and is alright, but with oildale it tried to be "angsty" like the 90's, which is really old and out of style.

  • @TheSilentOne50 out of style?.. korn arent meant to be stylish there meant to sound good to whoever wants to listen to them.. its korn.. i wont argue though man im a relatively new korn fan, my first korn album was take a look in the mirror and this was my second... followed by untouchables and debut.. tbh i like it all

each to their own though bro.. i will admit untouchables and take a look is , i would say korn at their best.. but this isnt bad ..

  • @DarkGnasher i have do disagree and agree at the same time. Yes, this is definitely not their best, but at the same time, it IS bad. The whole "angsty" message isn't fun anymore, no one cares. Untouchables and take a look were great, this album is just sad.

  • @TheSilentOne50 dude you gotta remember that that angsty sound is what makes korn,.. imagine right now without the pure hate.. wouldnt be the same.. however i will agree that on their 9th albun there probably could have been more.. but hey its 10 times better than you or i could have done xD

  • @TheSilentOne50 Dude, it's not about what's "in", it's about what their fans like and I think its fairly unanimous that this is a good album. Metal bands never try to impress someone who objectively quantifies their music, they try to create a message that resonates with fans and the public in general, and as long as there are high schools, the "why don't you just leave me alone" message is going to resonate. You're entitled to your own opinion, but deciding what's in style or not is not up to u

  • @trottingfoxinc thats all well and good, but this isn't the 90s. Besides, i didn't know the fans were into repetitive droning, like all of the songs on this album. Same beat, OVER AND OVER again. Really, KoRn needed to step up their game on this album.

  • @TheSilentOne50 Who cares if it's the 90's or not? And the droning thing, i'll give you some points for that but it's not like they just took one line and played it over. You seem to be saying that the songs just drone on like some rave song which is simply not true. ALL the songs have "changes" to prevent them from droning...ever heard of a bridge? If they didn't, it wouldn't sell, but "let the guilt go" was nominated for best metal performance and this album has sold 250,000 copies worldwide.

  • @trottingfoxinc the mere fact that you acknowledge that these songs have constant droning in them just proves my point. Sure, they have "changes", but it changes to ANOTHER form of droning. Wait, did you just say it sold 250,000 WORLDWIDE? Follow the Leader had 1.2 million sales. Untouchables DEBUTED at 434,000 sales. What's your point? Freak on a Leash and Here to stay WON grammies because they WERE BETTER. You're not giving a compelling argument.

  • @TheSilentOne50 You seem to be misinterpreting my point. My point wasn't really about the album's quality although it did morph into that. My point is that you can't be judging the album by what is "in" or not. The facts that I used weren't meant to say this is a great album, they were meant to point out that there is a fan base regardless of what's "in" or not. From a purely objective point this album isn't great, but you can't use that objective point to extrapolate that no one likes it.

  • @trottingfoxinc I never said that no one likes it. People who think that this is supposed to be a return to the old albums really don't get it. They just like it because it's KoRn. If it were Puddle of Mudd or some other metal band, rest assured they wouldn't hear the end of it.

  • @TheSilentOne50 That I'll take as a reasonable opinion that i even partly agree with, i just take issue with you defining what is "in" or not. It was your comment about the angst think being 90's that ticked me off, not your opinion of the album. I read what you wrote before i jumped in to the conversation, and you had a valid point, especially with that fans having the right to criticize. I just find it stupid that you claim that something is "in" or "out" If someone likes it, it's "in"

  • @trottingfoxinc angst was "in" in the 90s. The reason something is "in" is because people like it. If people don't like it, it isn't in. That's like saying bell bottoms are cool right now, because they were cool once. No one wears them anymore. Angst was in the 90s. Nirvana and KoRn and bunch of other bands also had this feeling in them. But they stopped, either from breaking up or singing about something else. It's the same old thing over and over again!

  • @TheSilentOne50 So you're saying that Black Veil Brides, Escape the Fate, Slipknot, Death By Stereo, A7X, and Disturbed aren't "in" because their songs deal with angst? Angst is metal my friend, and if you don't care too much for metal that's fine with me, just don't use that to define something as "good" "bad" "in" or "out". And you may be able to say some of these bands have shifted, but each of them have at least one song dealing with angst on their latest albums and tons of people like them.

  • @trottingfoxinc Sorry dude but Slipknot is not Slipknot anymore. They are a piece of shit these days. I won't disturb who likes these new "soft agnst" metal. But Soad got a hard time cause they disagree with these kinds of sound to call kiddos and girls to listen up. In my opinion Slipknot died Iowa. I can't hear Subliminar Verses after listen to "People=Shit" and "Eyeless", and as I said I do respect who likes it.

  • @trottingfoxinc But about Korn, this album is amazing! I don't like the bands of these days (mainstream) such as Avenged Sevenfold or Slipknot (after subliminar) and Disturbed, On my vision they got comercial and "Soft", they use emo shirts and hairs and try to pass "heavy feeling". Sorry that can get some stupid morons but not me. But as I said at other song, a band can't keep playing your favorite song over and over just for you... But some crossed the line and lost all theyr magic.Or sold it.

  • @nightnoia i do agree with you to a degree. A7X went downhill over time, Slipknot has never been as heavy as they were on Iowa, but my music isn't dictated by whether the band is heavy enough or if they changed. For me if it's a band I like I'll give it a shot, so in other words, yea those bands aren't what they were but I still like them. On a side note: 50% of the song disturbed played at mayhem were off The Sickness, which maybe says that they themselves don't like how commercial they got.

  • @sullacokorn dude, listen to yourself. Stop insulting me and try and listen for a sec. Each album had its own distinct feel. Issues's songs all felt very melodic and well made, and so did Untouchables, each album had a different type of feel to it. Besides, you're not a REAL FAN if you don't criticize it at times. I'm not a terrorist or someone who hates America because i sometimes criticize the gov. on both sides. In fact, criticizing something you like to make it better shows youre a fan

  • I don't understand people here... What do they fucking want!?!? KoRn went back to their old sound, you can clearly hear it!!! It sounds different because you don't want the same songs over and over again!!!!

  • amazing song, I only like 5 songs from korn III, I think Hed needs to get his ass back in korn

  • 1 person is never getting out of the past XD

  • coolguy75100 get used to it you stupid asshole, whining like a bitch-ass schoolgirl go cry to your mommie, maybe she gives a fuck.

  • 17 year old band 40 year old singer still kicking ass

  • when people judge it just shows that they dont give anything new a change

  • Comment removed

  • great song! it has only one dislike! Justin Bieber is losing shape

  • Fuck I love this song soo much!

  • The beginning reminds me of Left 4 Dead :D

  • The only thing that 'sucks' about this album, mainly, are the chorus'. All the verses, in my opinion, are really good. "Holding All These Lies", "My Time", "Never Around", and "Lead The Parade" really shine. "Holding All These Lies" really brings it back, the end is phenomenal.

  • @BDawk1234 wow i think this album is a chorus album and the versus suck except for fear is a place and the past but there rest is deff all chorus

  • Can't believe people actually liked this album. It was horrible. Even REAL Korn fans should hate it, and i'm not even trolling. I am legitimately hating this crap album that was made by a formerly good band.

  • In alll honesty i think it truly depends on what "Real Korn fans" were expecting. A majority of peole thought they were going to imitate the first album, so that really pissed em' off when it finally came out. Another majority of Korn fans (the ones who really do love the band) were disgusted and pissed that they would sell out to thier old sound so quickly just to please alot of ass-hurt fans. However Korn did'nt do that either. they just made a new Korn sound. I personally like the album alot

  • @lilrockable I love you, you're so right.

  • @TheSilentOne50 Fuck you, I don't love you.

  • @BuzzedGaming7618 uhhh... okay.... ANYWAY. Album was bad. No melody. Fail album, good band.

  • I hated this album. I think this and oildale were the only good songs. I'm surprised at myself, i love all of Korn's albums and consider myself a real fan. However, this album was an earache. No melody whatsoever.

    Not this song, however.

  • i aint reading your fucking troll bullshit...

    KORN IS THE SHIT.

  • wtf r u smoking, this cd is great, so what theres only 2 of the past members, but still great stuff. This is korn lll. so quit ur bitching and listen cant wait for their next cd

  • "Love without affection, is hate without the pain. Life is a connection, separate from the brain." One day, those lyrics are gunna be tattooed somewhere in my body. My favorite song off of Korn III. And to all those people that said the album wasn't good, you are right; It was Incredible. A true achievement. Forever the Children of the Korn.

  • I don't know why they didn't make this a single. It's perfect!

  • You guys do realize Korn doesn't have a bad album. Right? So stop trying to trick yourselves into saying this album is shit.

  • @kingplutoxiao1 it is shit. This album had no melody. This is the same shit as their first album, no progression at all. I am a huge KoRn fan, but i completely loathed this album. No melody, no progression of message, same old "oh i'm lonely and miserable" message. Very disappointed with this one. HOWEVER, everything before this was great.

  • @TheSilentOne50 Hypocrite much? And a fake fan, get out of here troll you dont even know anything about KoRn.

  • @kingplutoxiao1 Hyprocrite? I'm a troll? I'm just sharing the very obvious flaw with this half-assed album by a good band. It's crap. No melody. No nothing. Everything about this album sucks apart from two songs, and that's it. No need to get butthurt about it.

  • @TheSilentOne50 Oh quit bullshiting, i bet you listen to fucking mainstream.

  • @kingplutoxiao1 what the fuck does that mean? I don't listen to Lady Gaga or shit like that, i hate Greenday, and the only real "mainstream" people i listen to are Linkin Park, and their new album is nothing special either. Mainstream can be good. That's why it's mainstream. KoRn was mainstream in the 90s and Metallica in the 80s. Why? Because they were kick-ass. This song was only popular among KoRn fans because it was KoRn. And it sucked.

  • @TheSilentOne50 Wrong, Metallica wasn't mainstream in the 80s, and Korn wasn't in the 90s. And apparently you don't understand the first album from Korn so I'm not gonna bother.

  • just think... its kinda hard to make there sound like the old days considering head and dave are no longer there. plus why would they want to make an album like there old 1s, its all been done now cant you just be happy there still creating great nu music. dont like? dont listen, simple as that!

  • @magggot000 listening to hed's solo album.... some songs on that album soung more like korn.... than korn sounds like korn..johns voice just is not as good as it was... its just to whiny!!!...he sounded good till the take a look in the mirror album... after that....meeeehhhh....and there is no grouth in korn as a band....munky always wanted solo's in the songs, but hed refused to let him play solos... now that hed is gone... they should try and include solos in the songs. step up their game!!!

  • if u really consider this album diffrent you should cuz every koRn album is a very diffrent act this album is more old stlylish but is not the same none of their albums are thats what makes koRn diffrent especially when u get the 7 string and the 5 string tune it low and trash the solos and add in sqeeks sounds and sirens for your solos wich in my book is a new genre not nu metal but koRn!!!

  • why dont these songs have hundreds of thousands of veiws? THIS IS FUCKING KORN PEOPLE, LOVE IT. <3

  • @yourboss116 Agreed!. theres more veiws by mexicans

  • lol wow people say this doesnt sound like korn but this is exactly like them now what didnt sound like korn was their album untitled... now KoRn III brought em back. KoRn FTW!!!!

  • '' I don't like it '' Reply: ''Well, could you make it any better?!''

  • @stormmare yea

  • @stormmare Answer: Yes.

  • FUCK EVERYONE, that says this album is not good, its realy pissing me off, I FIND THIS ALBUM TO BE VERY AMAZING, I LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!!!

  • @coolguy75100 well dude it is an awful album... in comparison to their previous work... this band is showing no progress at all, they have not stepped up their game...and john really sounds awful.....may be its a a bad phase like metallica had till death magnetic... but this is one of the worst korn album ive heard...i prefer their older songs like..."i did my time"" counting on me" and most to follow the leader... this song is not bad, but the rest just suck!!!!

  • @coolguy75100 LOLUMAD BRO?

  • @KornOil he mad

  • @coolguy75100 your a coolguy? hard to believe from the way you flipout when you disagree with other people's opinions

  • @coolguy75100 The best yet my friend imho

  • @coolguy75100 Finally, Korn back to origins!!!!

  • @coolguy75100 true. this album really reminds me of what got me into korn in the first place.

  • @coolguy75100 This album have some really kickass songs but it's an irregular album, some songs are cool other not that cool.

  • they need that old school double guitar sound..

  • I like this song, but I wish this new album really sounded like their old albums like everyone says...but honestly in my opinion, it doesnt sound like that at all. its definetly new

  • @coffeeeecup I agree that this doesn't sound like their old stuff but I do like it quite a bit.

  • this is one of their best songs so farr :)
