This girl is an absolute genius. This is obvious not just from the actual sounds she makes, but even from just watching her perform. If she continues in this way, and does't let her success go to her head, she may even surpass Richter as one of the greatest pianists of all time.
Wonderful playing. Saw her Delphian CD arrive in the new-releases lists. It includes this piece, some Miroirs plus Shostakovich, Liszt/Busoni, Thea Musgrave - ! :-) - and Mozart). On the basis of this terrific performance, I placed an order immediately. Bravo!!
she just won the Scottish International Piano Competition today!!! her prokofiev 2nd piano concerto was brilliant!!!!!!!!! glad i had a chance to watch her playing live!
@walyduj oh she was fantastic tonight. well deserved winner. btw she played this Ravel piece on Monday in the 2nd stage. she won me over right then. felt the semifinal level wa extermely high. 8 super pianists.
