@buri2zaemon LOL. TKD is derived from many different MA's including idigenous K and Okinawan karate. Karate was Chinese until 1920's when it became Japanese for nationalistic reasons.
@SHADOWxDDx what's japanese 'dictaership'?? you mean Japanese Occupation? LOL. And no, TKD for formalized after the Korean War not Japanese occupation at the behest of President Park Chunghee.
To see Park body, looks like just a a little bit fat man. TKD also originally copied from traditional Karate after WW2(cause for unti-japan they could not say it is Karate), as traditional Karate is not suitable for K-1 TKD also not suitable. Park he might trained KickBoxing with TKD together however as like normal TKD player his experience about kick is not enough. And fat.
I think Park should spend at least 2 sets of 15 minutes everyday just holding his arms straight to his side to strengthen his ability to keep his guard up. Then he should spend 15 minutes sparring where all he does is keep his guard up and move and each time he drops his guard he has to do a minute or two of high knees with his hands held up in the air.
Then he needs to do some really serious conditioning.
But I will say that he is doing better despite the results of the last few fights.
I beg to differ. Park is one of the few who uses good TKD technique and ideas in the ring in a practical way. His problem isn't the TKD, it's his lack of conditioning and his weak boxing skill. If he got a lot better at boxing, it would give him more freedom and confidence to use TKD more. Also, if he got in good condition, his excellent precision, quickness, and power would last into the final round; maybe he'd be able to get some knockouts.
Yong Soo Park is so gayish, taekwondo is for pussies, is so uneffective against Muy Thai for example.

I differ too. Park is one of the very few TKD guys that can use it in an usefull mode in a K-1 ring.
His problem is that he box worst than my mom... and she isn't a great figther xD.
He NEVER HAS HIS GUARD UP anda that's a huge mistake, like you've seen in this figth.
Also he isn't in good shape, you can notice that he gets tired reaaaaally quick.

Ouch! Park gets knocked out AGAIN with the left hook (just like with JLB). Keep that guard up!
