@ukdude25 its not a lie, GSC Gameworld shut down last month. they annonced officialy the cancellation of the game. I was sad when i hear this (i still sad about it).

for me...i just dont understand why they're calling it stalker 2 when theres already been 3 games. and what would it be a sequel too anyway? clear sky? cant be cause clear sky is a prequel to shadow of chernobyl. and call of pripyat was a sequel (third game that came out) to that as well.

@pig666foetus I would have to disagree that Crysis 2 looked better than any S.T.A.L.K.E.R game. Crysis 2 doesn't even have Dx11, there's no actual atmosphere to it. No wet surfaces or anything.

The DX11 in C.O.P wasn't implemented in a fashion that made much of a visual difference due to various engine limitations (X-ray is ancient, by today's standards, to be fair). Crysis 2 is an A grade title (budget wise, anyway), so they had WAY bigger teams producing much higher quality models and textures etc. It's unfair to compare them really, one is a low budget title meant for immersion, the other is a blockbuster focused on...shinyness.

@pamew The latest patch for crysis 2 has fixed it. (Like 1.9 or something, wtf crytek?)
GTA IV may have run badly on realease, but atleast it ran....
It's way more CPU hungry though as alot of shit is going on in that game.
But I'll stick with VALVe in the future. :)
