@BigLongJon21 they arent new tubas they have a tradition of using fiberglass tubas but they wanted a cleaner sound so they put brass bells on them. its the cheapest way to make ur tuba line deep and sound good

Basically you saving your lips rather tire them down trying to play the full song note by note while takin it up playing loud and with full value of the notes. I mean its cool to skate every now and then because everybody lips get tired and to keep from freakin up a note i kno i would rather skate then freak a note up thats even worse. i just hate when ppl lie and say certain hbcus dont skate.
