fun fact: This song was supposed to be in the 60's disney film, but the femenistic Glynis Johns wanted a pro-suffragette song in the movie.

The people who casted the movie really wanted her to play Ms. Banks so they just leaned over to the Sherman brothers who wrote the music at the time and told them to write a song for her.

And thus was practically perfect re-written and re-composed till we got 'Sister Suffragette' for the movie instead.

They chose this song to scrap since it fit the least.

In the film, Mary Poppins does say 'Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way' but I can absolutely assure you that the song is a new one and certainly not written by the Sherman brothers.

out of all the actors ive seen play mary poppins, my fav is Laura Michelle Kelly. She just brings something to mary that the other actors don't but i dont know what it is, To me she is the best hands down.

these sound clips are not at all from the Broadway production infact they are from the original London cast recording which was recorded in London and none of the cast on this CD apart from Gavin Lee were in the Broadway show
