  • In respect for Layne, william duvall should change the name of the band. This is Alice In Chains. When I tell people I like Alice In Chains, I want them to understand, I enjoy THIS band. I dont want people thinking I like William Duvall's work. He has a fanbase all of his own anyway, and that "black gives way to blue" album, the picture of a heart on it, its just too hipster for me "oh look I put a picture of a heart on my album cover Im so artistic" Yeah Layne wasnt a fag like that.

  • @UnseenAGT Your comment was very unnecessary, damn it. Why would DuVall have the right's to change the name of the band? It's mainly Jerry's band now. He writes nearly all the lyrics. DuVall is a great singer. It was Layne's own fault that he put the band's agenda on hold for almost 14 years and died in the process. No disrespect for Layne, but he did fuck AiC in the ass, figuratively speaking.

  • @SalandFindles Its just my personal belief that any band should just change their name once a vocalist leaves let alone dies. I know theres been lots of instances in the past with changes in vocalists that were better than others (for example acdc). I would actually probably maybe even be a fan of the band with Duvall on vocals if they would have changed their name. It bothers me that they kept the name. I didnt know either that he put AiC on hold either; explain. Is it because he died?

  • @UnseenAGT 1996 was their final show while opening up for Kiss' reunion tour. AiC was put on hold from Summer '96 until April 2002 when he died because his drug use was too bad for the band to continue.

  • They really need to put this on a CD for a limited time.

  • I fully agree.

  • @SalandFindles And they should release the original cases for Sap, Jar of Flies, and Alice in Chains for a limited time, also.

  • I didn't actually. Fuck, I'm still not over Layne Staley's death. He was my idol and I really connected with him.

  • I miss Mike Starr... And Layne :(

  • Same here. It's eerie how Mike's looking at Layne in the picture. Did you notice that?

  • Killing yourself. Killing yourself. K-K-K-K-K Killing yourself.

  • :)

  • Good to hear Mikes bass....

    RIP and thank you Saland

  • No problem. I think this one is way better than the '88 demo version that's faster paced.

  • its like the one i'm used to half step

  • WOW! I've never heard this version until now, I'm so used to hearing the 1988 demo version...this is badass!!

  • Oh yes, it's about time you've heard this one. It's the best, in my opinion. I like the style of the vocals.

  • I love this version! I just wish AiC would rerelease this song somehow because it's virtually impossible to find, and it's nowhere to be found as a download, except on a torrent, which I know nothing about. Anyway thanks for uploading this dude :)

  • You're welcome. I had to give someone on here my e-mail address and have them mail it to me. I've put it on here to share it. You could get Audacity and rip the audio off here and just listen to it as an mp3.

  • Had to get someone to personally e-mail it to me. It's so hard to find. It was only on Vinyl & Cassette. I put it on here to share.

  • Total Facelift style!!

  • Yes. Seeing as how it came out on the We Die Young EP. It is SO rare.

  • im so mad i ve been looking this vinyl for years and havent found it. Shit im so late i think ill never find it

  • Well, here's this song from it at least. =/ I had to ask someone else to email it to me. You can't really find this song for download.

  • @krizalidstayaway not cheap anyway, lol. i saw one on ebay that went for nearly $300
