Yes it is great! I have 12 Go ram so now i can open more than 150 tracks!!!! I have pre- installed all my plugins (kontakt multi 16, Miroslav Philharmonik multi 16,etc) and i can play immediatly now ;) with a lot of combinations
hi i was wondering if the mac pro 8 core is the only apple computer that can handle intensive music production using logic pro studio 9.all the others have core 2 duo processors and non ecc ram inside.
@grahamenglish thanks i want to futureproof the mac pro so I may wait until later this year when apple put new gulftown 2 x 6 core processors in it before I upgrade.

@Theyahooclub click on your Logic Pro in application not the Logic Pro 9.0.0. The optionis in there to un tick 32 bit

My version 9.0.0 has a tick box to open with Roseta and NO way of switching from 32/64 bit options!! Can anyone explain please.
Do I need to upgrade to 9.1 ?

@creamywhip Google "Logic Pro Multicore Benchmarktest" and look for gearslutz. You'll get an idea of what you can expect in that forum post.
I'm definitely upgrading my MacBook Pro to a Mac Pro as soon as possible.
