There is no god, but if there were, and it asked me this question, I would say "FUCK YOU" and I would then kill god for being such an insecure ittle bitch.
Christianity is a rotten erect donkey penis, dripping with sweat and seman. There is a ring of crusted smegma around the inflamed tip and loose coarse wet pubes stuck to the shaft. Christians are the people willing to put this thing in their mouths and then tell us it's highly nutritious cake. My point isn't that Christianity is disgusting (that much is plain after reading the bible), but rather that Christians must think atheists are as gullable as themselves when they try and convert us.
People asking others to do things on behalf of "God" has been good enough for the masses throughout history. There are always people who talk on behalf of God, but God never appears. Science gives reasonable explanations for the origin of the universe and even good morals, yet there are those who dismiss the work of such scientists as "evil" and "of the devil" (cf. People claiming dinosaur bones are planted by "Satan").
An all knowing god should already know this, and would not need you to proove your devotion to him.
An all loving and just god, would never ask his followers to choose between such extremes. Because it is not a loving choice he gives, nor is it a just one.
Abraham is seen as righteous by Islam as well and is a large part of their belief system. Nice video, I'm not sure how Matthew 5:17 fits in though... other than that great job.
@mrfilthyrags Yes, and Noah was supposedly the only righteous man worth saving. Yet, he cursed his son's decedents to be slaves of their brothers. Lot willingly gave his daughters to be gang rape and fathered incestuous children. Moses was highly regard by YAHWEH event though he was a bloodthirsty genocidal sexist bigot. And the unscrupulous bloodthirsty warlord, David, was god favorite servants. These men would have been at the Hague today.
@petion2010 : Noah was a drunkard, most people don't realize that (according to the text) though I doubt a lot of these men even existed. Fuck the Old Testament arguments, I would never kill my own son(Jesus)... that's just pure evil. And the followers of the christian faith want to bath in his blood to make themselves pure... wtf... cult much?...
@mrfilthyrags The Christian doctrine is based on this: an all knowing god created a law that he knew Adam and Eve were going brake. He gets mad and punish humanity for the action of two. God (the son) then sacrificed himself to himself, to appease himself. He left no evidence of himself, and then, will threaten punishment for anyone who dares questioning if this story make sense.
@mrfilthyrags Lastly, I never get how Jesus could forgive people on other's behalf. If I wrong you, only you can decide to forgive me or not. And depend on my offense, even if you forgive me, I still would have to pay a price even some prison term, if the crime is egregious and if I'm deem a menace for society. Many Christians would think that it's okay for Jesus forgiving a dictator who commit genocide while the people he kills, rape, and tortured can burn in hell for never accepting Christ?
According to the "sophisticated" apologist William Lane Craig, it *is* good and moral to kill a child if God wills it. Now, either he believes that and is a psychopath. Or he is lying, and just defends Christianity for the money (my bet). But either is enough to stop taking him seriously, ever.

Can you do me a big favor and refer me to the clip or a clip in which he makes this statement. I totally agree with your latter opinion. The man is an erudite, used car salesman except it ain't used cars he's peddling....its the Christian belief system. The Christian right has deep pockets and Slick William has his hand out lOl
@nosajj12345 He's very careful to avoid using words like "kill" or a variation thereof because he knows how bad it would make him look. However, in his recent debate against Sam Harris he states that morals are commanded by God, that all of Gods commands are good, and he avoids all attempts to press him on what that entails. In his debate with Hitch he played a similar trick when Hitch brought up Abraham following God's commands, by deflecting the issue to "but God stopped him in the end".
I think you're absolutely right. Lame Craig likes to say that god gives us 'objective moraltiy' that we can rely on, however his idea of "objective morality" is obeying the arbitrary commands of an invisible sky daddy as interpreted by savage bronze age desert dwellers and their modern day adherents. Hardly reliable, it's actually insane. So Lame Craig relies on his well crafted sophistry to hide his blatant mental illness and moral bankruptcy, cheeky bastard that he is.
@LaResistance86 "I completely agree. This video is stunning."
Actually, The real reason I made that comment (I'm usually more vinegary) ,was purely to take advantage of the fact that my comments are automatically posted, with the vid, onto my twitter and FaceBook pages. These are good points that cry out to be hammered home more often about what people are REALLY expected to accept in their religions. I hope a lot more people decide to share this stuff in future.

I'd like to know who the composer of the music is? It sounds a little like Jacob Druckman, but that's a kind of wild guess.

I've had one tell me this. The ironic part is that's one of the few things he's ever been honest about.
