KDAF CW 33 News at 9 Close

KDAF only has one newscast (at 9), so it only competes with KDFW. It's unfair to call it "last place". Besides, it's the CW affiliate...what do you expect.  I commend them for making the effort to compete for the 9pm timeslot. We don't need an additional re-run of Family Guy!

And regarding the music, I think it's fine for the station and the time. It has a snare hit fill at the end that conjures up old-school WFAA memories.

The music is nice, but the station is too cheap to upgrade on everything. That's why there in last place among Dallas-Fort Worth news stations.

33's news sucks, why can't Tribune drop the news staff at 33 and make a deal with WFAA to have News 8 on CW33.

because Fox 4 (KDFW) is an FOx O&O station, NBC 5 (KXAS) is an NBC O&O (and maybe NBC Universal could do an deal with Tribune)and CBS 11 (KTVT) is an CBS O&O and they would rather help out it sister station KTXA 21instead of CW 33. i think News 8 would do an better job then CW 33 when it came to local news, even crappy NBC 5 news does it better then 33, and Replican American Idol-net, i mean FOX 4 does better then 33, even 11 is better. 33 news sucks.

thats because KDAF is in association with FOX television. why do u think they show the simpsons and other shows from fox. it used to be fox 33. now if KDAF were to team up with WFAA then dont u think that would b a bit of a backstab to FOX

We have no affiliation with KDFW at all. "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" are both in syndication...and any station...of any network affiliation can run these shows if they pay for them for use in their respective markets.

Well, as one of the staff in the CW33 newsroom...I would like to say that I would very much like to keep my job. News 8 already rebroadcasts on channel fifty-something...Since you're so willing to get rid of my job...perhaps I can have yours if it happens. I'm guessing you're in TV...quite possibly at 8.
