I was at this concert two years ago, and I can tell you, it sounded a lot better live. I really don't like this recording. But this was one of I think two that I remember from that concert.

I know! There are a lot of people who enjoy the brightness though... I think that this in favor of preserving the pitch, but I feel that this can be achieved without all of the brightness... Chanticleer does it this way so, people just like it... I'm not a fan of that type of singing in general though...

Yo, so I dunno what's with all the bashing...must be a local rivalry thing. But I have to say I've sung this with the Mansfield University Men's Chorus and the Penn State Glee Club (150 male voices on stage!) so I have good experience singing this piece. Some diction work is needed but I really love the balance, blend, and tonal quality of the singers. Very nice work guys! Keep up the wonderful job =)

ok so seriously, before anyone from annandale says anything else, i want one of YOU to upload a video of annandale's performance of this so we can all listen to "how much better" you are. if you're gonna try and diss another choir, back it up. this wasn't our best performance, but we wouldn't have gotten a 1 at festival with it if it was bad.
