@MajSolo The HAWK system uses about the same computer systems as the PATRIOT. They will work together very well for a fine defense system.

This is one of my favorite videos since 1996 .... feel the smoke, look at the clear sky, and see the enemy get hit .... mmmm

it is a nice vid , it is just that it relays so much of the REAL thing ... this is a old vid if anyone wonders ... but it is one of the great ones ... SAMs might be a tad bit underestimated. And any new develoment and fielding of new pieces have not been taken seriously while the russians are spraying out new systems almost all the time .... on the other hand ... hmm.

Nice.... A little filming from the J-Box. The exhaust dust and sound would make you jump.. I was a 24C and Worked on the Tracking IHIPWR radar and launcher. Had a good time back in the mid 70s. This is an Improved Hawk I think...  at Crete. With the new HARM stuff you can't power up a Radar like this these days witout getting popped.

If I remember right, in 1986, a Hawk Missile costs around $360,000 a round. LOL dont ask me what the exchange rate was though...

USA doesn't give anyone anything, we make sure we are well paid for our equipment. HAWK missiles are over 50 years old and PATRIOT is 30 years old....just think of what we can do now :)

i would like to thank america for the 1,885 i-hawk missiles that it gave iran and also the 21,000 tow-anti missiles today iran is able to make both missiles its self in its own factorys thank you again. ha ha ha
