  • U R A GOD

  • If you want to sell your house call me! My trains need a nice place to live!

  • WOW! That must have taken alot of work and$.

  • Love your videos. Very informative. Excellent job. You can be proud of your work- it's a masterpiece in the train world!

  • true, im the one to take them down and then rebuild my layouts but half the fun is building them from scratch haha...

  • do you not worry about de-valuing your house as you have cut holes in your walls? great layout to,

  • @MsFreighttrain Well, when we sell the house I'll have the walls patched up...unless we happen to find a buyer who wants to buy the house with the layout.

  • is that your hole basement? because i want to try an ho version

  • that is one nice layout. you are planning it well.

  • one of the best layouts I have seen!!! wow! do you do the benchwork as well?

  • Yes.

  • I use a 2-part geodesic foam and fiberglass window screen. I will probably do a video on it in the near future.

  • Eric your layout is in one word... AWESOME! I can't wait to see updates of all of your hard work!

  • what track do you prefer on a train layout?

  • I use Atlas O 21st Century Track

  • Your layout is truly amazing. Great work. I wish I had the room for O scale. Cant wait to see more!

  • awesome train table. biggest one ive ever seen in my life

  • Thanks

  • Is that a Mac charging on the mountain at 2:32?

  • your planning and detaling is meticulous. I can't wait to see how you finish it.

  • How do you do the rock molds? I just want to be prepared to when that step comes up to me when I start my layout.

  • Hey can you do a instructional video on how to do the rock molding and how to do the inside of the tunnel. Layout is looking great cant wait to see it finished

  • I'm thinking about doing one. Making tunnels is a very long and drawn out process, so the video would be very long....probably 4 or 5 parts.

  • check out my layout. im thinking about showing the layout during december. i just wish i had more room than the pain in the ass storage room. thats all the room i can use. the most i can make is 12 by 8.

  • Do you live in the Atlanta area? Are you part of the Pilgrimage?

  • well i actually live in indianapolis. really fishers near indiana transportation museum by a nickel plate road line. what is the pilgrimage.

  • cool i have a space that is 11' x 9'

  • great video! can you show a vid where the train is going through the layout to date with this last update. alot of progress! nice!

  • Is that just a black sheet? Could I get one at like WalMart?

  • Can you please post a video of how you make the rocks.

  • hey eric wht do you put on top of the shell and i guess you have a wood frame under it i started to use it but i went and use rock molds from scenery express and HYDROCAL your layout is coming out very nice and are you running any mth aiu's

  • WOW!!! Your layout is looking amazing!

    Keep up the amazing work.

  • how do you make hard shell

  • The hard shell is made from polyurethane foam spread over fiberglass window screen. The foam is a 2-part foam that you get from mixing equal amounts of a Part A chemical and a Part B chemical. Once mixed it hardens up in about 20 minutes.

  • oh thank you i bought styrafoam 20$ a 2 inch 4x8 sheet its costly i used the styrafoam on my portable model train show layout. But thank you for this tip i got a very big role of window screen now where would i find foam spread and any other thing i would need to make it

  • I get the foam from Alimilite. Google Alumilite and go to their website. The product is called "610 foam".

  • oh srry i did not know but great layout 5star hope to see more

  • great work! seen the progress since it first began! it has come a long way!! I would like to see a video of some yard work -creating a train and taking it around the layout! NO RUSH lol I know you have a name for each vista (room)- what area of the country is the main room? or is it a neutral location? keep it up!!!!!

  • I will do some yard videos once the yard is more operational, which might be a little while as I'm working on other areas of the layout right now. Except for the Colorado room in the back, the layout is set in the southeastern mountainous area of the country...no specific spot but probably somewhere in the North Georgia, TN, NC mountains. The Colorado room will have backdrops of the Rocky Mountains and be very loosely based on the mountain areas outside of Denver.

  • just to let you know a youtube user named maxstrains videod your layout and claimed the work

  • Max is a friend of mine and the video says it's my layout.

  • I will try to come next year to that. I saw all that running and you really can throw a great train party! Nice Job!
