@sonofhimmler1 that is so incredibly obvious and yet, I'd never even noticed it! It's probably the same set, but I never looked at the similarities until now lol!!
It's precisely because of people like Ted that I do not like the word "retarded" being thrown around as a casual insult. And yet, here on Youtube, it seems "retarded" is the #1 buzzword. Think on, folks.
@cottonwhiskersuk Its actually pretty strange to hear the word used in its proper context...im so used to retarded being an insult and hearing actual mental retardation being referred to as "mentally disabled."

it's HAM LUSHBAUGH from one of the old GG episodes. The one where the guy wouldnt sleep with Blanche, and kept saying "Maybe some other time Blanche".
@vampirebaseball101 No no no. That comment was meant to comment on the one above mine. He plays Dan's father in Roseanne. man4man2007 said that wasn't him but it was.
Thanks for posting!! I love the golden palace and the golden girls they are my fav im old fashioned, i like older movies, im 15 and all of these episodes makes me laugh :) i love them all!!
R.I.P Estelle and Bea
I got all seasons of the golden girls
its a shame they dont sell the golden palace in australia :(....
I had never seen this episode before tonight, and I am blown away. This is the most touching episode I have ever seen of any sitcom, and it had me in tears by the ending. The depth and warmth of these characters is simply beautiful.
Me too! I was watching it and wanting to leave a comment saying this is my favorite episode. I honestly think this is my favorite episode out of all of my favorite sitcoms. So touching. It makes me cry everytime.
This was my first time ever seeing this episode. It is now my FAVORITE episode from both the "Golden Girls" and "The Golden Palace". This one touches your heart so much!!! LOVE IT
its interesting how only blanche and charmaine were seen at big daddy;s funeral, not the other siblings or their children....altho it was even worse at phil's funeral..gloria wasnt there or his kids or dorothy's...and y was it in miami...but thats another story in itself lol
A really touching episode. The Golden Girls (and Golden Palace) really dealt with some serious subjects and did it with such class. Thanks for posting all of The Golden Palace out here since it is not on tv anywhere and seemly is not going to be on dvd any time soon.
I know I loved this episode, it makes me cry so hard to but the ending was always so sweet Blanche was so sweet to Tad thanks so much for uploading this by the way ericbfdl...
I did too for 3 years. They become "yours" after a while. I used to get sooo mad when people would stare or their families never came and they would watch their housemates get to come home. :-( Thank goodness there are good people that still care out there. Keep up the good work!! It is appreciated.
People don't say retarded anymore.

@blktenor I know a lot of people who say retarded. I say it, too. It's not a "bad word" no matter what the PC police say.
Topher1286 3 months ago
@blktenor People don't use it in it's correct meaning,,,but they definitely still say it.

Why do I have the feeling they wrote that brownie line just because Cheech was playing the character?
