Just a random thought to anyone older than 30 years old. What was a better NBA broadcast team? Dick Stockton and Hubie Brown on CBS, or, Marv Albert and Mike Fratello on NBC?

As much as I loved Marv and Mike, Dick and Hubie were exceptional on CBS. Hubie is far more superior than Fratello when it comes to color commentating.

@kobe41 : Oh no doubt. Hubie Brown is unparalleled as a color commentator. He is to basketball what John Madden was to football. However their style fit the style of play we saw back in the 80s. It was more about skill, defense, and the half-court game. By the time the NBA moved to NBC it had become more of a fast-paced, offense-minded game based more on athleticism than skills. Marv and Mike fit that role as they were more animated where as Dick and Hubie were more laid-back.
