wow. this entire dance is so well made! It melds with the song so well, picking up pieces of lyics or rythm, showing both a story and characters and at the same time flowing so freaking effortlessly all the way through with really no parts being week. That is incredible, even for Kate! I take my hat off for you, Kate, for making this. What an astounding piece of work! Be very proud! And as for the dancers every single one of them shines! Kate, your work is amazing! I've literally watched all your videos. I do have a comment/question/whatever though. Your choreography and general movement is always sharp and deliberate. It makes much of your pieces blend together in the eyes of an audience member with a dance background. I love what you do and the choreography and music, but I'd love to see something a bit softer and less deliberate. (I'm a diehard ballerina, so I'd love to see something flow-y) :)

What I always love about Kate's choreography are the little movements.  A flick of hand this way, a small gesture, a small arch of the back or leg angle, the nontraditional spins at different angles/positions, the way every dancer has a "solo" role--group dances aren't centered solely around 1 person...just beautiful.

@minniemrox Not to go all "omg she meant 2 do that" on you, but I've found her juvenile dances almost always involve young kids, while her more mature pieces exclude them. I think it makes sense to keep the pieces a little lighter when kids are young. Just my opinion, though, you're entitled to yours. :)
