I've been going through a bunch of strategy guides of raids I never got a chance to do and I think it's hilarious how every video has at least 2-3 comments complaining about WOTLK. Also, even though it doesn't matter anymore, wouldn't it help if the melee stood in front of her with the tanks? split the slash even more and they wouldn't be affected by attraction or beams.

thats befor armour, with the average bt tank thats 60% reduction so 40% of 25k to each tank

That is before the damage is mitigated, generally each cleave will deal around 9k-10k damage (usually closer to 10k for me as a prot pally). This is of course if you don't dodge or parry the attack, so stack avoidance if you are one of the off-tanks to give the healers a break.

question: saber lash is divided between 3 ppl? or between everyone in the 2 yard range? cause if its divided between everyone, wouldnt it be possible to make all the raid stand in the spot, take about 2-3k damage from saber lash and negate the beams and atraction for the whole raid? just wondering :P not that the encounter is hard as it is anyway

Bleh... I completely forgot to mention the aura changes throughout the fight: she puts up damage auras during the fight, that increase one type of spell and decrease another. Like one will increase fire damage by 25% while decreasing ice damage by 25%, etc etc. So take advantage of beneficial auras to increase your raids DPS. The aura changes frequently during the fight.
