I bought my first PC in 1992, sold the damn thing two weeks later and bought my first Mac the same day. Since then I have a dozen of Macs, maybe more. The BEST decision I ever made was switching to Mac and glad I did it in 1992.

Yeah i used windows 3.1 to xp and a year ago i bought my first mac and the experience was amazing, i have not had a single problem in a year with either of my macs. the compatibility of other things that go with the mac experience like the ipod, and iphone make things so much easier too.

I used Windows from 95 to Vista and Ubuntu from 5.04 to 8.04 beta. Just got a macbook a fe months back and it is definately the best OS out of them. Vista is a disgrace. Linux is great but still not perfect for desktop IMHO. So yeah i have used them both for a good amount of time.

I've gotten the BSOD 15 times and my applications crash for no reason. Windows Explorer frequently crashes and has to restart. I want a Mac!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mac is the only computer than can use ten YEARS after you buy... without virus, full compatibility... although normal programs are in mac too... never will have to reinstall... solid as rock... I hope that microsoft empire disappear soon because mac havent problems and apple make the hard work... microsoft must disappear... with more % of marketshare I think that the macworld would be very cool... even more than now

10 years ago was before the iMac. Mac OS 8 had just been released. At that time, Apple abandoned backwards compatability with each release. To stay current with available software you would have to spend more than just buying a cheap PC, but the cheap PC would keep improving.
