Its okay @2xtrbo ....Jesus is our hope for he loves us and we love him....its never bad for a person to go against....but you should have faith in HIM for he shall forgive ur sins no matter how big....im 13 years old and God inspired me, hes my inspiration, i trust in him, i love him, therefore i will never come to hate....i also love satan, not because hes a devil, i love him because hes still in need for love,, we all do....forgive ur enemies, forgive urself, ask forgiveness from God.
2xtrbo, listen, if you're going to come here and tell us what you think Jesus did when you yourself cannot understand who you are talking about. He decended to earth sent by God to redeem us, he taught preached and he suffered for you and me, he willingly took the nails of sin to redeem all of man kind that includes you and me, and through his sacrifice, we don't have to sacrifice. He died for the very creation that turned away from him, Humanity
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
@2xtrbo,I hope I meet you in heaven, hope you accept Jesus as your personal savior and become a follower and develope your own relationship with him,He is real and true, can you search for him and lose any animosity ?Its not about my relationship with you,or any other person,it is about Him and all our relationships with him. The Bible has many verses,I hope you find a favorite one.
God offered this as a free gift to all of us, so that, if we just believe, we can be saved, and escape our punishment for our sins, and have a permanent, intimate, personal relationship with God, our Father, forever and ever, including going to live with Him in the glory of His kingdom (heaven), after our earthly bodies die (see John 3:16). It doesn’t get much better than that! :)
The difference between Jesus and us is that Jesus never, ever disobeyed His father, in other words, Jesus never, ever committed any sins. So Jesus was THE, once-and-for-all, perfect sacrifice, who took the punishment for all of our sins upon Himself, which was death by crucifixion, one of the most horrible and excruciatingly painful types of death imaginable at that time.
These sacrifices were simply vivid illustrations of the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, which was yet to come, and which God had already planned.
Since God wanted to show us just how very much He loves us, He sent His one and only heavenly Son, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, to earth, to live as a human, to experience all of the very same temptations that we experience.
Since the punishment for our sins is death, God allowed humans during the Old Testament days to atone for their sins by sacrificing animals, but specified that these should be the best and purest of their animals. Since people kept breaking God’s rules over and over again (much like us today), they had to perform these ritualistic animal sacrifices over and over again, because their sins kept breaking their relationship with God over and over again.
Since God loves His children (us) very much, He has compassion and patience for us, and shows us mercy, by offering an alternative to our punishment of spiritual death, to restore our relationship with Him, and make us free from all spiritual pain and suffering, forever.
God’s rules are summed up in the two greatest commandments, as cited by Jesus Himself, in Matthew 22:34-40:
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Since God knows what is best, He decides what the rules will be, and what our punishment will be, if we disobey. Our disobedience is called sin. Since God can’t tolerate sin, our disobedience breaks our relationship with Him. Our punishment for our sin is death, meaning a spiritual death, and separation from God, forever.
God created all of us, so we are all His children. Because He is our Father, He knows what is best for all of us, even better than we do. So, He gives us rules, and teaches us how to behave, so that we will be safe, and do what is best, for others and for ourselves.
Since we love our children very much, we have compassion and patience for them, and show them mercy, by sometimes offering alternatives to their usual punishment, to make it less painful for them.
If our children disobey us (their parents), and if we love them, we discipline (punish) them, to correct them, teach them about consequences, and get them back on the right path. Since we know what is best, we decide what the rules for our children will be, and what their punishment will be, if they disobey.
This video is epic. I am so moved by it, I am in tears. I pray that for all people who are confused or do not believe, I pray that they find the Lord in their hearts. There is nothing else like the feeling of the Lord inside of your own beating heart.
Jesus was a lamb slain before the creation of the world (Rev. 13:8) It is as if the BIG 3, Father, Son & HS got together and said in agreeance, "We have these souls to inhabit this M-5 planet that they will someday call earth. We know they won't be able to do right because the inclination of their heart is to do wrong, yet we love them and want a healthy relationship with them. To do that, one of us will have to give himself up for them and pay the price for sin - death." Jesus said "I will"

So Jesus committed suicide to save us from god's wrath. He sacrificed himself to himself for himself. In heaven a death "pays" for our sins. Try paying at Wal-Mart with a death.
@2xtrbo In a crude way you have it right. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. We all have a choice. I pray that the love of Jesus will overwhelm you so that you will understand and believe.
@2xtrbo Its not the same kind of death and He did not commit suicide. Jesus was the Son of God and He was the Lamb of God. In those days lambs were sacrificed for the forgiveness of sin. Jesus was the ultimate lamb and he gave up His life for us and rose three days later so that could live eternally with Him.
@2xtrbo jesus has nothing to do with walmart but all about dieing on the cross for all of us Thank you Jesus for that Glorious Day.I am pround to say I am saved by your blood
@TheAnn50 Your religion calls for human sacrifice. Will you smear the blood of your own child around? Didn't think so. It would be sick if you did this.
@2xtrbo You are not understanding the principle behind christianity. God requires a justification for forgiving us. God decided long ago that the only thing that would provide our salvation is the sacrifice of Himself as Jesus to pay the price for our sins. If you do not accept His sacrifice, then you are "lost" in your sins because you have not found the way to everlasting life. Everyone here who is a christian truly wants you to find your way to Jesus. Jesus loves you and he died for you.
But therein lies the promise - God sent his only Son to atone for our sins and offer a new covenant. HE i the ultimate human sacrifice so that no more blood would need to be shed to find salvation with Him.

@2xtrbo Jesus was God's sacrifice for our sins. Jesus did not commit suicide. When you are a sacrifice in this particular situation, you are not committing suicide. He had no choice but to die for our sins, however, He rose again because He is the Son of God.
@TheDon2087 And if a lamb was used as a sacrifice as Jesus was, obviously the lamb does not try to commit suicide. Both the lamb, and Jesus had no choice.
@2xtrbo look if he sacrificed himself to himself for himself. God and jessu is one being friend. And it is too hard for our brain to comperhend that way. But God is all knownig sometime his knolwedge are confusing to us. Like why bad thing happens :).
All word and no spirit, we dry up; all Spirit and no Word, we blow up; both Word and Spirit, we grow up.
