when i took a pic with flash its not getting so good but when i tried in iphone 4 its better....which is the best setting for 12 mp camera to get hq pics

5 Nokia N8`s later, and each one has had a fault! the main fault seems to be a ticking sound when i play back something ive filmed. Its so loud that i can hear it over conversations! And it sounds like its going with the bit rate. Its on every second then randomly stops, and then starts again. Im so disapointed and so deflated! has anyone else had these issues?

I've had my N8 a couple of months and did not know about the user divined settings or selecting it as default. Also didn't know you could pinch to go between 9mp's and 12, so thanks, very useful video.

I think that the Nokia logo is written with big letters because they probably didn't have machine to print small letters. After all, Nokia was made at year 1865. Over hundred years later that one big grown corporation was cut in 18 smaller corporations and they all make something else, like paper, car tires and everything but that Nokia what makes electronics grew one of the biggest companies ever. Btw I guess the paper company used Nokia logo with small letters, I saw it in some toilet xD

@MoheyMojito The aspect ratio of the sensor is 4:3. I believe they way they achieve 16:9 is by cropping it.  So the answer is no you cannot do 12MP pics in 16:9 format.

I have this phone when you get zoom the images get worse bad quality, my samsung camera has 6 megapixeles is better when you get zoom, the n8 camera disappointed me

The phone is great..but The problem is that i got a faulty phone, & Nokia Dealer is refusing to replace it..it freezez a lot & it ends a call while am still speaking...hope this is a software problem not a hardware..although i re-installed the OS but still have same problems
