If it hadn't been icing, this hit is fine. But the NHL added a rule this year outlawing a hit with no intention to play the puck on an icing situation. THAT is why this is a dirty hit--Marleau is supposed to be allowed to race for the puck without worrying about this happening.

while the hit was high, it was a late icing whistle. blake jumped in as "a third man" and came from behind when a sharks player had already jumped in. hes a bitch who wants to throw a punch but can't take one.

So I think a fine could be warranted there because that's not exactly very sportsmanlike, but I don't think that deserves a suspension.

Gauthier needs to be ejected from all hockey games. It's unsportsmanlike conduct to attempt to permanently mame or take someone's head off! He only does this because he has no ability to actually score or play hockey. Get him out of this sport!!!!
