  • why does the engine make that noise at 6:10 to 6:21

  • what seat were you in??

  • Back in 2009 I was diverted on an airtran 717 as well. I was flying from Milwaukee (MKE) to Orlando (MCO), but we had to land at Tampa due to bad weather. Then about an hour later we flew over to orlando.

  • That landing looked like it hurt for sure lol. I've had almost the same kind of landing in atlanta. Nice save by the pilot but we came down pretty fast on the final. The pilot put the throttle upp a little but it wasn't in time and we slammed the runway and i mean SLAMMED lol

  • Flying AirTran in two weeks going to Dallas Fort Worth. Flight 711 to ATL to DFW. Seat 23F. I'm 13 & flying alone, help?

  • Just wanted to point out a few things about this video. First, you can hear the gear come down at 1:04. Second, you can see Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine at 2:53. And finaly, the landing (3:39) was very hard because of the fact that the pilot flared to early and caused the plane to sink rapidly afterwards (probably because of low speed). Hope this clears up some quetions.

  • Replying to all of your comments, YxJames, please see the description. kj762aa, yes, it was a very, very hard landing. gerorozoco, take it easy! AirTran has only two gates at DFW. They are not doing anything bad to Texas. American and Continental aren't the best airlines either. Plus, AirTran is cheap!

  • Airtran!! Go home! Love that you are us based but get ou!

  • Ya'll slammed that runway.

  • Why were you diverted???
