i found a ENERGY GUN in the first part of the level were you start and it helped a lot because if you do it right it tracks the orange orbs and i almost beat it there were 2 orbs left and i ran out of thermal energy and froze

I got the achievement and I only destroyed 2 of one worms yellow things. Actually there was only 1 worm for me I think. I didn't killed it :/ But when I reached the storage or w.e. it is the achievement unlocked :D

If you are talking about the intro boss green eye, you can't. just run and follow the soldiers.

Isn't it easier if you put your PDS up so you can see the worm(s) comming?

if u are trying to kill the worm, dont always kill the stingrays because they actually attack the worm, but they dont do THAT much

I just went FAR LEFT and moved very slowly, never activated the worm.

Speaking of when they destroyed the starting base, when it first popped out of the ground it killed about 20 of the stingray flying looking guys for me :) And then ripped me in half...yaaay!

actually theres a way you can keep your bike VS what you have to do is activate the worm(s) and hop out of your bike BEFORE THEY POP OUT OF THE GROUND then once they come up get back in and drive away =)

Good question. Considering that there is only one human on this video and like a bajillion giant bug and worm things and he mentioned not fighting all the Akrids while shooting his assault rifle at them....I'd have to guess that the Akrid are the freaks. No offense, but its kinda obvious (though I recently rented the game..Is good so far except this level I almost killed them worm and then it blasted through the barricades and destroyed the bunkers and stuff...not fair lol!

Maybe you have to shoot the glowing blue thing in their mouth too? I tried it and lobbing grenades in but missed :) I don't know if you need to or if they just don't like us...

I will not lie to you, when I rented Lost Planet I disliked it so mutch that I litarally went into a state of deppresion (No lie) and I emmediantly took it back for Halo 3, which i have to say halo 3 kicks ASS, but the reason I didlike this game is beacuase of the horriable story line, a good game needs a good story line and in every mission your completly on your own that sucks.

When you do shoot all the yellow spots on the worm, its still technically alive but after the level, it counts it as dead.

One thing i must ask though: what would be the best walkthrough for this level on this difficulty when your looking for the Target Markers?

this game is really good, my friend showed me it even though i saw in gamestop i didnt like it , but when i played, its intense. relastic explosions r cooler than halo 3( not saying halo 3 is bad, i have it)

You will get the achievement after the mission is complete, if you don't hear the music anymore you get him down, but he is coming back just complete the level, just like the guy said

There is a way to keep the vs, just step out of it when the ground rumbles...It works...trust me ^_^

There is a way to keep the bike vs, just take it outside...and step out when the ground rumbles. You can keep doing this to clear the level qquite quickly.

Actually, there is a way to keep the sled VS. Take it outside the metal barriers, and when the ground rumbles...Leave the VS and dodge the worm's attacks until it burrows beneath the snow again. You can keep doing this to clear the level quite quickly. It helps...trust me ^_^
